Disclosed is a method of sharing multimedia contents, by a server, including storing the multimedia contents, receiving an establishment request configured to establish one of a plurality of access modes for the multimedia contents from a first terminal, establishing an access mode according to the establishment request for the multimedia contents, receiving an access request for the multimedia contents stored in the server from at least one second terminal, determining whether the at least one second terminal is allowed to access the multimedia message based on the access mode, and transmitting the multimedia contents, wherein the access mode includes at least one of a private mode for access by only the first terminal, a restricted mode for access by the at least one second terminal, and a public mode for access by all terminals.

A method and apparatus for transmitting a notification about broadcasting services in a broadcasting system are provided. A method of a network entity includes detecting a notification event about a broadcasting service, the notification event including a change of a service guide of the broadcasting service; generating a notification message about the notification event; determining which channel is used for a transmission of the notification message; and transmitting the notification message to a terminal or a group of terminals over the determined channel. The channel used for the transmission of the notification message is determined based on whether the notification message is transmitted over a broadcast channel of a broadcast network or over an interaction channel of an interaction network. The service guide is generated based on service guide related information provided by a service provider of the broadcasting service.

A paging apparatus and method in a mobile communication system providing an MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service). In the mobile communication system, to page a UE for a first service through a primary carrier during a second service in progress through a secondary carrier, a PICH (Paging Indication Channel) transmitter in a Node B transmits paging indication information to the UE through the primary carrier by oscillating the primary carrier as a transmission frequency. A PCH (Paging Channel) transmitter transmits paging information to the UE through the primary carrier or the secondary carrier by oscillating the primary carrier or the secondary carrier as the transmission frequency under a predetermined control. A PBMSCH (Physical Broadcast Multicast Shared Channel) transmitter transmits data of the second service through the secondary carrier by oscillating the secondary carrier as the transmission frequency. A controller controls the primary carrier or the secondary carrier to be oscillated as the transmission frequency of the PCH transmitter if the paging indication information indicates paging.

Call processing methods and apparatuses are provided in a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based network involving at least one Push-to-Talk (PTT) over Cellular PoC client and a reception side PoC server. The reception side PoC server receives an INVITE request including a Manual Answer Override (MAO) indication from a transmission side PoC server. The MAO indication is for establishing an auto-answer mode in a pre-established session. If a reception side PoC client has the pre-established session with the reception side PoC server, the reception side PoC server sends an OK response to the transmission side PoC server in response to the INVITE request. The reception side PoC server sends a communication connection request including the MAO indication to the reception side PoC client. The MAO indication is used to determine that a transmission side PoC client is an authorized user with respect to the reception side PoC client.

A method and an apparatus for selecting a location platform for a user equipment to roam and a method for determining the location of the user equipment using the same. The method for selecting a location platform includes: checking a visiting network of the UE in response to a location request message transmitted from the UE which is roaming; and selecting a location platform to calculate a location of the UE by comparing positioning capability information of the checked visiting network and positioning capability information of a home network of the UE. According to such a method, it is possible to efficiently perform the positioning of the UE, regardless of the location of the UE, thereby improving the quality of the positioning service.
