The disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A feedback transmission method for a receiving device in a multiple input multiple output system according to one embodiment comprises: a step of measuring channel state information; a first quantization step of quantizing the channel state information using a first codebook; a second quantization step of quantizing the channel state information using second and third codebooks which are different from the first codebook; and a step of feeding back the channel state information on the basis of a selection result of one of the first and second quantization steps.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A channel information feedback in a wireless communication system and a method of a receiving node of a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes transmitting an indication representing an indexing rule for channel values and block-wise quantized channel information, and receiving beamformed signals mapped to an antenna based on the indexing rule.

A method and apparatus for controlling charging of a battery by a wireless power receiving apparatus, using a charging power provided from a wireless power transmission device are provided. The method includes initiating charging of a battery by using a charging power provided by a resonator for wirelessly receiving power; determining whether charging of the battery has been completed; and terminating, when the charging of the battery has been completed, an operation of the resonator.
