    Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method and an UWB device for linked secure advertisement. The method includes receiving UWB data to be broadcasted as advertisement, and classifying the UWB data to be broadcasted into sensitive UWB information and non-sensitive UWB information. The method also includes protecting the sensitive UWB information. Further, the method includes generating the secure advertisement comprising at least one of the non-sensitive UWB information and the protected-sensitive UWB information, and broadcasting the secure advertisement. Further, the proposed method provides a method for linking the fragments of the UWB advertisement data and fragmenting each field of the UWB data.

    Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method and first electronic device for collision avoidance in an UWB network. The method further includes identifying in the UWB network, a slot in a mirroring channel for sending an advertisement packet and starting a Reservation Delay Timer (RDT) before reserving the identified slot in the mirroring channel. The method further includes determining whether at least one second electronic device in the UWB network is trying to reserve the identified slot in the mirroring channel while the RDT timer is running. The method further includes performing reserving the identified slot in the mirroring channel in response to determining that the at least one second electronic device is not trying to reserve the identified slot while the RDT timer is running, and sending the advertisement packet for the reservation at expiry of the RDT.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for scheduling ranging sessions in a short-range communication network. A method disclosed herein includes assigning priority for each service of at least one service and dynamically modifying the priority of each service for scheduling ranging and data sessions among user devices for the at least one service. The method further includes forming a group of controllers, creating a group composite schedule information for the group by scheduling the ranging session for each controller of the group, and broadcasting the group composite schedule information to each controller of the group. The group composite schedule information includes information about the scheduled ranging session for each controller of the group.

    Abstract: A service enabler architecture layer (SEAL) system for a wireless communication network and a method therefor are provided. The SEAL system includes: a SEAL function entity including SEAL service servers corresponding to functionalities associated with service applications, where the SEAL function entity is an intermediate layer between a 3GPP network core and a service application system, and interfaces provided by the SEAL service servers. The SEAL system also provisions inter-services communication in a SEAL system of wireless communication network by receiving a request from a service application system for accessing at least one functionality of a plurality of functionalities, determines at least one functionality of the plurality of functionalities requested by the service application system based on the request, and provides at least one functionality to the service application system based on the inter-services communication in the SEAL system.
