A system and method for presenting content through a plurality of electronic devices are provided. The method includes presenting content through a plurality of electronic devices comprising at least a first electronic device and a second electronic device, wherein the presenting of the content comprises displaying a first portion of the content through the first electronic device and displaying a second portion of the content through the second electronic device, identifying an input for at least one of the plurality of electronic devices while the content is being displayed, setting the plurality of electronic devices as a first group comprising the first electronic device and a second group comprising the second electronic device, based on at least the input, and independently presenting the content through the first group and the second group, based on the setting.

An electronic device includes: a display; and a processor configured to: play a video on the display by using a first application, obtain playback information associated with playing the video by using the first application, activate a second application while the video is played by using the first application, determine a frame of the video corresponding to a time point at which the second application is activated, and seek the frame to play the video by using the second application, based on the second application being able to seek the frame within a reference time.

A method of selecting at least one device from among a plurality of electronic devices having first and second electronic devices, based on at least one of information about the plurality of electronic devices and a user input for at least one of the electronic devices is provided. The method includes presenting content through the plurality of electronic devices such that a first portion of the content is displayed through the first electronic device and a second portion of the content is displayed through the second electronic device. Also, this method includes performing a particular function associated with presentation of the content through the selected at least one device. Various other embodiments are possible.

An electronic device for use with an external electronic device includes a touchscreen display, at least one speaker, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may obtain a user input for outputting video data of a first medium while audio data of the first medium is output through the at least one speaker, identify a point of time when the audio data is output through the at least one speaker, based on the obtained user input, determine a point of time when the video data is to be output through the touchscreen display or an external electronic device, by a delay time calculated at least based on the identified point of time, and control the touchscreen display or the external electronic device such that the video data is output through the touchscreen display or the external electronic device at the determined point of time.

The electronic device includes a communication circuit, a memory which stores instructions, and a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit and the memory. The processor may be configured to determine a first output frame rate on the basis of a display refresh rate, output, through the display, first playback video data having a first playback frame rate, receive a user input which enables the first playback frame rate to change to a second playback frame rate, change, in response to the user input, the frame rate of the first playback video data to the second playback frame rate, and output, through the display, first corrected video data generated to have the first output frame rate from the first playback video data having the second playback frame rate.

An example electronic device according to various embodiments of this document may include: at least one auxiliary processor; and a main processor operably connected to the at least one auxiliary processor, wherein the main processor may be configured to: obtain moving image data; separate the moving image data into image data including plural consecutive image frames, first audio data including plural consecutive audio frames, and plural timestamps corresponding respectively to the plural consecutive audio frames; generate second audio data using the first audio data by adding header data to each of the plural audio frames; transmit the second audio data to the at least one auxiliary processor; generate, based on first time information successively received from the at least one auxiliary processor, second time information; and play back the image data based on the second time information, and wherein the at least one auxiliary processor may be configured to: play back an audio signal based on the received second audio data; and generate the first time information about a playback time of the audio signal based on the header data.
