Abstract:
Methods and systems for performing editing operations on media are provided. A method includes receiving at least one reference media and at least one target media, identifying at least one dominant edit attribute of the at least one reference media, and performing a compatibility check to determine a compatibility of the at least one target media with the at least one dominant edit attribute of the at least one reference media. Based on results of the compatibility check, at least one compatible edit attribute is selected from the at least one dominant edit attribute, and the at least one compatible edit attribute is transferred from the at least one reference media to the at least one target media.
Abstract:
A system and a method of performing an image matting on an image are provided. The method includes detecting, by an image processing system, one or more objects in the image; determining, by the image processing system, a confidence map associated with the image using one or more image segmentation techniques for each of the one or more objects; and generating, by the image processing system, a tri-map for each of the one or more objects in the image from the confidence map based on at least one of a size of each of the one or more objects in the image and a distance between a first pixel in the image and a second pixel in at least one of the one or more objects in the image, wherein the tri-map is used to perform the image matting.
Abstract:
A method for switching between a first lens and a second lens in an electronic device includes displaying, by the electronic device, a first frame showing a field of view (FOV) of the first lens; detecting, by the electronic device, an event that causes the electronic device to transition from displaying the first frame to displaying a second frame showing a FOV of the second lens; generating, by the electronic device and based on the detecting the event, at least one intermediate frame for transitioning from the first frame to the second frame; and switching, by the electronic device and based on the detecting the event, from the first lens to the second lens and displaying the second frame, wherein the at least one intermediate frame is displayed after the displaying the first frame and before the displaying the second frame while the switching is performed.
Abstract:
A method, device and apparatus for generating stereoscopic images using a non-stereoscopic camera. In one embodiment, a first image of a scene is captured using a non-stereoscopic camera of an electronic device. In order to create a stereoscopic image, two images are captured from two different viewpoints. In order to achieve this, a guided preview screen is displayed on a display unit of the electronic device to guide the user in capturing a second image. The guided preview screen indicates a direction in which the electronic device has to be moved to capture the second image. The second image of the scene is captured using the non-stereoscopic camera once the guided preview screen indicates that the second image can be captured. A stereoscopic image of the scene is produced and displayed on the display unit using the first image and the second image.

Abstract:
A method for of playing an animation image, the method including: obtaining a plurality of images; displaying a first image of the plurality of images; detecting a first event as a trigger to play the animation image for a first object of the first image; and playing the animation image for the first object using the plurality of images.
Abstract:
A method for content aware multimedia resizing includes selecting at least one Region Of Interest (ROI) in an input multimedia, resizing the at least one ROI, and generating an output multimedia with the resized at least one ROI. An electronic device for content aware multimedia resizing includes a processor configured to select ROI in an input multimedia, resize the at least one ROI, and generate an output multimedia with the resized at least one ROI. A computer-readable medium storing a program for content aware multimedia resizing, the program which when executed by a processor causes the processor to perform operations including selecting ROI in an input multimedia, resizing the at least one ROI, and generating an output multimedia with the resized at least one ROI.
