摘要: The disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or a pre-5G communication system provided to support a higher data transfer rate than a system after a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). An operation method of a terminal in a wireless communication system includes: obtaining an RLC transmission mode and RLC configuration information in the process of determining a V2X service requiring configuration of a unicast session and configuring the unicast session with another terminal; if the terminal is determined to be in the coverage of a base station, receiving an RLC transmission mode and RLC configuration information from the base station; and if it is determined that the terminal is not located in a base station coverage, obtaining a pre-configured unicast session and pre-configured RLC configuration information for each RLC transmission mode, which is mapped to a V2X service.

The method comprises the steps of: generating a data packet; determining whether to perform duplicate transmission for the data packet; and if it is determined to perform duplicate transmission for the data packet, generating at least two duplicate packets by duplicating the data packet, and transmitting the respective at least two duplicate packets to at least two base stations.

摘要: Disclosed is a 5G or pre-5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4G communication system such as LTE. A communication method of a terminal in a wireless communication system, which includes a first base station supporting first wireless communication and a second base station supporting second wireless communication, can comprise the steps of: performing data communication though the first wireless communication with the first base station; receiving, from the first or second base station, configuration information for second wireless communication connection; reporting, to the first or second base station, the result of measurement on at least one beamforming reference signal having been received from the second base station, on the basis of the configuration information; and establishing the second wireless communication connection with the second base station on the basis of the measurement result.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided in which a first radio resource control (RRC) release message in an RRC connected state is received from a first base station. The first RRC release message includes first information configuring an RRC inactive state and second information associated with a paging area. A system information block 1 (SIB1) in the RRC inactive state is received from a second base station. A cell is identified that does not belong to the paging area based on the SIB1. An RRC resume request message is transmitted to the second base station to resume an RRC connection from the RRC inactive state. The RRC resume request message includes a cause value for updating the paging area. A second RRC release message for the RRC resume request message is received from the second base station. The second RRC release message includes third information associated with an updated paging area.
