Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an electronic device that combines a plurality of images. The electronic device may include a first camera including a first view angle, a second camera including a second view angle that is smaller than the first view angle, a memory, and a processor, and the processor obtains a first image including a first brightness and corresponding to an external object, using the first camera, obtains a plurality of second images including a second brightness and corresponding to the external object, using the second camera, generates an image that is corrected to include a brightness corresponding to the first brightness, based at least on the plurality of second images including the second brightness, and generates a composite image corresponding to the external object, based at least on at least a part of the first image including the first brightness and at least a part of the corrected image. Also, other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: A camera module according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises a lens module including at least one lens, and an image sensor module coupled to the lens module, wherein the image sensor module comprises a micro lens, at least one photodiode, and a filter array, the filter array includes a first filter capable of transmitting light of a first designated band and a second filter capable of transmitting light of a second designated band corresponding to a color having a complementary color relationship with another color corresponding to the first designated band, and the filter array may be disposed between the micro lens and the at least one photodiode. Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises an image sensor and a processor, wherein the image sensor comprises a microlens and a light-receiving sensor pixel capable of converting light having passed through the microlens into an electrical signal, the light-receiving sensor pixel comprises a first floating diffusion area and a second floating diffusion area, the light-receiving sensor pixel is set, as a first area and a second area having different sizes, in accordance with the activation of either the first floating diffusion area or the second floating diffusion area, a signal generated by the light-receiving sensor pixel can be classified and read out as a first signal corresponding to the first area and a second signal corresponding to the second area, and the processor can be set so as to: use the image sensor so as to activate the first floating diffusion area, thereby acquiring a first image of an external object; use the image sensor so as to activate the second floating diffusion area, thereby acquiring a second image of the external object; and synthesize at least a portion of the first image and at least a portion of the second image, thereby generating a third image having a resolution higher than that of the first or second image. Additional various embodiments are possible.
