Abstract: A user terminal measures a location thereof. In a method for measuring a terminal location, the terminal measures received signal strength indicator (RSSI) values of signals received from a plurality of electronic devices deployed in a space. Then the terminal extracts a preliminary location of the terminal with respect to each of a plurality of predetermined algorithms by applying the plurality of algorithms to the measured RSSI values, identifies a first estimated location of the terminal by applying a predetermined weight to each preliminary location, identifies a second estimated location of the terminal using an output of at least one sensor, and determines a final location of the terminal, based on the first and second estimated locations.

Abstract: An example method for determining, at an electronic device, a presence or absence of the electronic device in a specific space may include estimating a current location based on strength of signals received from a plurality of wireless communication devices; correcting the estimated location by using movement information acquired through a sensor to generate a first corrected location; correcting the first corrected location by using information about a boundary area of a predefined presence determination area to generate a second corrected location; and determining the presence or absence in the presence determination area, based on the second corrected location.

Abstract: Provided are an electronic device and an air conditioning system capable of reducing an amount of power consumption while maintaining cooling capacity of the air conditioning system, by adaptively adjusting cold water temperature and coolant temperature in consideration of a change of a load. The electronic device according to an embodiment includes: a communicator configured to communicate with an air conditioner including a coil through which cold water flows and a valve for adjusting an amount of the cold water, a chiller unit, and a cooling tower; and a controller configured to determine a target open value of the valve based on a change amount of an air-conditioning load of the air conditioner, and control a temperature of the cold water supplied from the chiller unit to the air conditioner such that an open value of the valve adjust towards the target open value.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes an acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and a processor configured to compare geomagnetic data of the geomagnetic sensor and gyro data of the gyro sensor and correct the gyro data, determine a first value based on a principal component analysis (PCA) of acceleration data of the acceleration sensor, and determine a second value based on a PCA of the gyro data, and estimate a moving direction of the electronic apparatus based on the first value and the second value.
