According to one embodiment, the electronic device comprises: at least one sensor; a housing; a battery disposed inside the housing and including an atmospheric pressure sensor; and a processor, wherein the processor can be configured to detect an internal atmospheric pressure of the battery by using the atmospheric pressure sensor, to check state information related to the electronic device by using the at least one sensor, and to perform a designated function when the atmospheric pressure satisfies a designated condition at least on the basis of the state information.
