摘要: Provided are an emergency steering system and a method of controlling the emergency steering system. The emergency steering system includes a plurality of wheel units each including an in-wheel motor and a steering unit; a motor controller configured to control an electric current applied to at least one of the in-wheel motors; and an emergency steering signal input unit configured to receive an emergency steering signal, which is a signal for applying the electric current to the at least one of the in-wheel motors, transmit the received emergency steering signal to the motor controller, and control the motor controller based on the emergency steering signal, wherein the motor controller configured to control the electric current applied to the at least one of the in-wheel motors based on the emergency steering signal.
