    摘要: A method for inserting and extracting a fingerprint based on a wavelet is disclosed. The method includes: a) decomposing an original image into a first sub-band image having low frequency band columns and rows, a second sub-band image having high frequency band columns and low frequency band rows, a third sub-band image having low frequency band columns and high frequency band rows and a fourth sub-band image having high frequency band columns and rows by performing an n-level discrete wavelet transformation on an original image; b) obtaining a human visual system model from the first sub-band image; c) generating an N×N fingerprint basic block by performing a message modulation on a multi-bit fingerprint signal with a security key and adding a synch pattern to the modulated signal; d) repeatedly inserting the fingerprint basic block in to the second, the third and the fourth sub-band images with reference to the human visual system model; and e) generating a fingerprint inserted image by performing an inverse discrete wavelet transformation on the first sub-band image and the fingerprint basic block inserted second, third and fourth sub-band images.

Purchaser information is inserted into digital contents that include image, audio or video data using a fingerprinting system when the digital contents are sold in the distribution process of the digital contents. If the contents purchaser has illegally copied and distributed the contents through the Internet or a P2P (Peer to Peer) server that is a file sharing server, the corresponding contents are searched for using a searcher and the corresponding purchaser is traced on the basis of fingerprint information inserted into the contents.

    摘要: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for extracting a fingerprint of a publication. And disclosed are a system and a method for identifying a publication using a fingerprint. The system for identifying the publication using the fingerprint includes: a fingerprint extraction unit for extracting fingerprints for collected query publications to identify the copyrights infringement; a fingerprint query unit for querying fingerprints of original publications corresponding from the fingerprint extraction unit; a DBMS for storing the fingerprints extracted from the original publications and additional information from the original publications, and providing a search result candidate group which is composed of fingerprints of at least one of the original publications corresponding to the queries of the fingerprint query unit; and a candidate group verification unit for determining copyright infringement for the query publications by verifying the search result candidate group provided from the DBMS.

    摘要: A for embedding a digital watermark on a wavelet lowest subband includes: setting a DC component region of a multi-stage wavelet-transformed original copy image to a watermark embedment region, and high-frequency filtering an original picture LLn of the embedment region; generating index information for designating a pixel position, and a watermark sequence to be embedded; calculating an embedment strength λ for each position of the watermark embedment region; in case the watermark sequence is sequentially embedded on an embedded position designated by the index information, mutually comparing the original picture LLn coefficient value for each embedded position with a mirror picture LLn′ coefficient value, and then altering the original picture LLn coefficient value; and in case the original picture LLn coefficient value is differentiated above a predetermined value with reference to the coffesponding embedment strength λ, skipping the watermark embedment for the position.
