    摘要: A portable wear quantification system includes a hand-held image acquisition device and a fixture. The fixture includes a first end coupled to the image acquisition device. A light source emits a light beam along an emission axis. A beam splitter is disposed at an angle with respect to an axis of view of the image acquisition device for directing the beam from the light source toward a portion of an object. A second end of the fixture is located on an opposite side of the beam splitter from the first end. The second end includes a platform that is configured to position the fixture with respect to the object. A channel extends from the first end to the second end along the axis of view of the image acquisition device.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for tracking rotation of a turbomachine component including locating at least one tilt sensor at the turbomachine component and rotating the turbomachine component about a central axis to observe a portion of interest on the turbomachine component. The at least one tilt sensor detects an angle of rotation of the turbomachine component and transmits the angle of rotation from the at least one tilt sensor to a device which converts the angle of rotation to an indicia of the portion of interest. Further disclosed is a rotor including at least one tilt sensor and a system for tracking rotation of a turbomachine component including at least one tilt sensor and a device.

    摘要: A method and system for detecting weld signatures from an ultrasound scan data obtained from scanning a pipeline is provided. The method includes a step for mapping multiple amplitude responses from the ultrasound scan data, each amplitude response being representative of a respective sensor signal. Continuous amplitude responses are located from the amplitude responses and corresponding signatures are identified for the continuous amplitude responses. The method also includes a step for tagging the corresponding signatures as weld signatures.
