摘要： An inkjet printer including a feeding device configured to feed a sheet in a feeding direction, a platen configured to support the sheet, a recording device configured to eject ink on the sheet, contacting members configured to contact the sheet, a detector configured to detect an end portion position of the sheet in a width direction, and a controller configured to control the feeding device and the recording device is provided. The contacting members are arranged at intervals in the width direction, and the controller performs a suppression process in which at least one of the feeding device and the recording device is controlled to suppress a contact of the sheet with the recording device when the end portion position detected by the detector is a position between the two adjacent contacting members.

摘要： A method is provided that is implemented on a control device connected with an inkjet printer, which includes an inkjet head having an ink discharging surface, a head scanning unit reciprocating the inkjet head relative to a recording sheet along a scanning direction parallel to the ink discharging surface, and a wave shape generating mechanism deforming the recording sheet in a predetermined wave shape that has tops of portions protruding in a first direction toward the ink discharging surface and bottoms of portions recessed in a second direction opposite to the first direction alternately arranged along the scanning direction, the method including acquiring gap information related to a gap between the ink discharging surface and each individual one of the tops and the bottoms on the recording sheet, and determining whether the gap information acquired for each individual one of the tops and the bottoms is abnormal.

The display unit includes a first portion and a second portion. The first display control unit is configured to display one of a plurality of screen images on the first portion. The plurality of screen images includes a base screen image and being arranged hierarchically from the base screen image. The first display control unit changes a screen image to display from one to another of the plurality of screen images along a screen navigation path starting from the base screen image based on screen navigation data, the screen navigation data indicating relationships between the screen images. The title string storing unit is configured to store a plurality of title strings, each title string indicating one of the plurality of screen images. The navigation string creating unit is configured to create a navigation string including the title strings each corresponding to a screen image which is positioned in a part of the screen navigation path from the base screen image to a current screen image that is displayed on the first portion currently. The second display control unit is configured to display the navigation string on the second portion. The scrolling unit is configured to scroll the navigation string on the second portion in a longitudinal direction of the navigation string so that a part of the navigation string is displayed on the second portion at a time.

摘要： An image recording apparatus includes: a tray for holding a medium; a conveying portion for conveying the tray; a recording portion for recording an image onto the medium held by the tray; a detecting portion for detecting the medium. A detection-region determining portion determines, a detection region of the medium which is to be detected and a detection-region memory portion memorizes the determined detection region. Prior to the next image recording, the detecting portion detects the detection region, based on the detection region that has been memorized in previous image recording. A judging portion judges whether the image has been already recorded onto the medium or not, based on result of detection made by the detecting portion.
