    摘要: An apparatus for ejecting liquids includes a liquid ejection head including a nozzle, the nozzle ejecting the liquids; and an ejection detector to detect whether the liquids are ejected from the nozzle of the liquid ejection head, the ejection detector including an insulated receiver having an adhering face to receive and adhere the liquids ejected from the nozzle and an electrode disposed on an opposite side of the adhering face of the receiver. The ejection detector detects electrical change generated when the liquids adhere to the adhering face of the receiver while generating a potential difference between the liquid ejection head and the electrode.

    摘要: A connector is provided with a housing (10) to be connected with a mating connector housing (70) upon receiving a pushing force from behind, and a slider (40) (connection detecting member) to be mounted into the housing (10) relatively movably between a standby position and a connection position. The slider (40) includes such an operating plate (41) as to entirely cover the rear end surface of the housing (10) at a position behind the rear end surface of the connector housing (10). If the operating plate (41) is pushed forward, a connecting operation of two housings (10, 70) proceeds and the slider (40) is moved from the standby position to the connection position.

The busbar (5) has tabs (6) to be connected to the respective female terminal fittings (2) and adapted to short the female terminal fittings (2) to each other. The busbar (5) includes a base (15) used to mount the busbar (5) into the housing (1) and the tabs (6) are cantilevered from the base (15). The base (15) includes resilient legs (17) for allowing displacements of the tabs (6) in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the tabs (6). The tabs (6) can be displaced by displacements of the resilient legs (17) to absorb a misalignment between the tab pieces (6) and the female terminal fittings (2).

    摘要: An opening (K) is formed in one side surface of a housing (1) to expose cavities (5) inside. Retaining portions (8) are formed in the cavities (5) to prevent female terminal fittings (7) accommodated from above the opening (K) from coming out backward by engaging the female terminal fittings (7). A cover member (2) includes a cover (15), which is slid along a plane direction of the opening (K) from a rear side of the housing (1). When the opening (K) is closed by the cover (15), thinned portions (36) of the cover (15) slip under locking walls (19) to prevent the cover (15) from coming out upward. Further, a lock arm (28) of the housing (1) is engaged with a locking edge of the cover member (2), whereby the cover member (2) is mounted on the connector housing (1).

A detection terminal (50) has a rear support (52) supported on the housing (10) rearward of the pivoting portion (24). An action portion (54) of the detection terminal (50) is engaged with the pivoting portion (24) and displaces with the pivoting portion (24). The lock arm (20) deforms during connection of the housing (10) and a mating housing (90) so that contacts (53) of the detection terminal (50) are not in contact with mating detection terminals (97). However, the lock arm (20) returns resiliently when the housings (10, 90) are connected properly so that the contacts (53) contact the mating detection terminals (97).

Since the shorting terminal (50) is commonly used to short the pair of functional terminals (25) for the malfunction prevention and the like and to short the pair of detection terminals (14) for the detection of a connected state of the two housings (10, 20), the number of parts can be reduced.
