摘要: A phantom powered preamp for use with a microphone cartridge having a unique mechanical interface. The unique mechanical interface allows the phantom powered preamp to function with both ¼ and ½ inch microphone cartridges. The phantom powered preamp including a housing base having a PC board assembly and a connector, the PC board assembly being electrically coupled to the connector; a preamp tip having an adapter and a guard tube, the PC board assembly extending from the housing base to the preamp tip and being electrically coupled to the adapter and the guard tube, the adapter being configured to be electrically coupled to the microphone cartridge, the guard tube being configured to surround a portion of the PC board assembly within the preamp tip; and a first converter being configured to releasably engage the preamp tip or the housing base to reduce edge diffraction.

摘要: A connector assembly for terminating cables to a PCB. An interface of compliant contacts within in a cylindrical disk of dielectric material and a boss with the cable attached reciprocate within a cylindrical sleeve with the interface toward the PCB. Springs bias the interface and boss toward the PCB. The sleeve, interface, boss/cable assembly, and springs are slid into a barrel that has a pair of pawls extending paraxially from the proximal end. The pawls combine with paraxial alignment fingers on the sleeve. In the unattached position, the circular alignment posts fit into round PCB holes. As the connector is pushed toward the PC, the sleeve contacts the PCB and stops, but the barrel continues until it is free to rotate to an attached position where the pawl fingers slide under the PCB. An optional locking mechanism locks the barrel in the attached position.

摘要: One embodiment is directed to a method of reading RFID tags in an interconnection system comprising at least one port. The method comprises initiating a localized read transaction to read any RFID tag attached to a first connector and any RFID tag attached to a second connector inserted into the port. The method further comprises, as a part of the localized read transaction, reading any RFID tag configured to respond to a first type of RFID interrogation signal, wherein the first connector comprises an attached RFID tag that is configured to respond to the first type of RFID interrogation signal; and, as a part of the localized read transaction, reading any RFID tag configured to respond to a second type of RFID interrogation signal, wherein the second connector comprises an attached RFID tag that is configured to respond to the second type of RFID interrogation signal. Other embodiments are disclosed.
