摘要： A dynamic image display device which reads out each frame from dynamic image data stored as successive frames every predetermined number of skipped frames, to display each of the frames at each predetermined display period on a window of a display device. The predetermined number of skipped frames and a display area size of the window are changeable. The dynamic image display device includes a display area size input device for inputting the display area size of the window, a storage device having a definition correlating the display area size with the predetermined number of skipped frames, a device for reading out from the storage device the predetermined number of skipped frames corresponding to the display area size of the window inputted by the display area size input device, and a device for displaying each of the frames on the window of the display device every read predetermined number of skipped frames.

The inputting section inputs, to the cooperation controlling section, input data and switching data for switching over a cooperative operation mode and an individual operation mode. 摘要： A multiwindow display control method and apparatus for easily controlling a display of a plurality of groups of windows each group including a plurality of windows. The invention includes plural frame memory control units each storing pixel data to be displayed on one of the windows, a first group number of a group of windows to which the window belongs, and a priority number for identifying a display priority among the windows included in the same group of windows. The invention further provides an outline generating unit for generating a second group number each identifying one of the group of windows; a pixel data arbitration unit for determining a group of windows having the first group number which coincides with the second group number, and for determining a window to be displayed having a highest priority number of the determined group of windows; and a display unit for displaying pixel data of the determined window.

摘要： An information searching apparatus and method capable of producing good search results even in the case where specified search keywords are found separately on a plurality of documents. Upon receipt of a search request from a client, a first search process searches an index memory to find tentative search results. According to predetermined rules, it is determined to which group each tentative search result should belong. A second search process then searches documents at an upper hierarchical level in the same group, thus finding keyword hits in an upper-level document. A higher priority is then given to a group of documents in which the second search process has found keyword hits. Finally a list of locators is compiled and sent back to the requesting client to indicate the locations of relevant documents, where the locators are arranged in descending order of the display priority of corresponding groups.

摘要： A novel heterocyclic derivative of formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents ##STR2## and R.sub.2 represents hydrogen or acyl. When R.sub.2 is acyl, the derivative can be prepared, for example, by the following process: ##STR3## wherein R.sub.4 is acyl and R.sub.1 is ##STR4## The derivative is less toxic and has radiosensitizing activity and antiviral activity even at a low concentration.Radiosensitizing agents and antiviral agents containing the derivative as active component are also disclosed.
