    摘要: It is intended to provide a composition containing isoflavones which has a high purity and yet is highly soluble in water in a natural state without adding any solubilizers or subjecting to chemically modification. It is found out that a composition containing isoflavones with a high purity and a high solubility in water can be obtained by extracting soybean hypocotyls with a water-containing alcohol within a specific temperature range, then allowing a synthetic adsorbent resin to adsorb the obtained extract and eluting with a water-containing alcohol at a specific concentration.

    摘要: It is intended to easily separate saponins from isoflavones extracted from starting soybeans thereby giving highly pure saponins at a high yield on an industrial scale. Saponins can be highly efficiently separated from isoflavones by performing multistage extraction under mild conditions such that malonyl isoflavone glycoside, from among isoflavones contained in the starting soybeans, is not converted into isoflavone glycoside, acetyl isoflavone glycoside or isoflavone aglycon. Thus, highly pure saponins can be obtained at a high yield on an industrial scale.

    摘要: An optical fiber holder which is suitable for holding a plurality of optical fibers arranged side by side at uniform intervals is provided. This optical fiber holder includes a holder body and a presser member. The holder body has an optical fiber accommodating unit which accommodates connection portions of optical fibers respectively inserted in recess portions defined by first protrusions at uniform intervals. The presser member has second protrusions in positions corresponding to the first protrusions of the holder body, and covers the optical fiber accommodating unit. Thus, the optical fiber holder can hold a large number of optical fibers side by side at uniform intervals while maintaining high density.
