摘要: A compact planetary differential includes a drive input ring gear having external teeth and a planet gear carrier connected rotationally fixed to the drive input ring gear. First planet gears are located on a first axial side of the planet gear carrier, and second planet gears are located on a second axial side, with the first and second planet gears being arranged in intermeshing pairs, and the planet gear carrier including interface openings. Pin plates include aligned openings for first planet gears and the second planet gears. Pinion shafts extend through these aligned openings and pinion shaft openings in the planet gear carrier. A single one of the first or second planet gears is rotatably supported on each respective one of the pinion shafts. A first sun gear engages with the first planet gears, and a second sun gear engages with the second planet gears.

摘要: A bearing includes an integrated electrical shunt. The shunt includes electrically conductive fibers sandwiched between two washers, at least one of which is electrically conductive. The fibers are fastened to the electrically conductive washer by electrically conductive epoxy. An outer shield protects the fibers. The outer shield is held to the washers by a drawn cup. The washers, the drawn cup, and the outer shield all have oil drain holes to allow lubricant to flow to the rollers.

摘要: An integration kit is disclosed herein that allows for mounting of a resolver trigger wheel relative to a bearing assembly, resolver, and rotor. The integration kit simplifies assembly and saves space. The integration kit includes a resolver integration sleeve that includes a first axial section including a radially inner surface defining a bearing support and radially inwardly extending flange defining an axial abutment surface. The resolver integration sleeve also includes a second axial section including at least one anti-rotation slot dimensioned to receive a portion of a trigger wheel, at least one anti-rotation tab extending axially towards the first axial section and dimensioned to be received by a rotor, at least one securing tab extending radially outward and configured to engage a trigger wheel, and a radially outwardly extending flange.

摘要: A cage for a radial bearing assembly with rolling elements is provided. The cage includes a first and second rims, and webs extend between the rims to define pockets that receive rolling elements. Each of the webs includes first and second rolling element guide surfaces that face a first adjacent one of the pockets and third and fourth guide surfaces that face a second adjacent one of the pockets. These guide surfaces are located at a pitch circle adapted to coincide with a centerline of the rolling elements located in the pockets. The webs have first and second radially inner retention tabs that respectively face the first and second adjacent ones of the pockets. The first retention tab is located axially between the first and second guide surfaces and the second retention tab is located axially between the third and fourth guide surfaces. The retention tabs are located radially inside the pitch circle.

The cage includes a radially inner rim including a first flange, and a plurality of first retention tabs extend from the first flange that include first and second lateral surfaces. A radially outer rim includes a second flange, and a plurality of second retention tabs extend from the second flange that include third and fourth lateral surfaces. The first and second lateral surfaces of the first retention tabs and the third and fourth lateral surfaces of the second retention tabs face each of the pockets to define lower rolling element retention elements. Webs include first and second rolling element facing guide surfaces that face adjacent ones of the pockets. Upper rolling element retention elements of the webs are provided on an opposite side of a centerline from the lower rolling element retention elements.

The second face of the oil deflector is arranged adjacent to an axial face of the bearing and the carrier is arranged adjacent to the oil deflector so that the projection is at least partially received in one of the oil grooves for deflecting an axial flow of oil.

摘要: A three-way switchable clutch, including: outer and inner rings; and pawls non-rotatably connected to the outer ring. For a free-wheel mode, the inner and outer rings are rotatable with respect to each other. For first and second clutch modes, the pawls are displaceable to engage the inner ring to non-rotatably connect the inner and outer rings. For the first mode: rotation of one of the inner or outer rings is in a first circumferential directions and the one of the inner or outer rings is rotatable with respect to the other of the inner or outer ring in a second circumferential direction. For the second mode: rotation of the one of the inner or outer rings is in the second circumferential direction and the one of the inner or outer rings is rotatable with respect to the other of the inner or outer rings in the first circumferential direction.
