    Abstract: A method and apparatus for landing and orienting a production selective landing tool (PSLT) within a well casing. The well casing is provided with one or more indexing casing coupling (ICC). The PSLT is included in a completion string. The PSLT has several landing keys and an orientation key. The PSLT is conveyed through the casing and lands in the ICC. The PSLT has integrated control lines for intelligent completion. The PSLT has lugs coupled to a mandrel and control lines. The lugs, the mandrel and the control lines are shifted relative to the body of the PSLT. The control lines are in a slot of the body. The PSLT is locked in the ICC when the mandrel is shifted. The PSLT can be removed from the ICC via pulling the completion string uphole.

    Abstract: A technique facilitates reducing or eliminating the risk of premature actuation of a liner hanger system and/or premature release of a miming tool. According to an embodiment, the technique utilizes a running string for deploying a liner hanger assembly having a liner hanger which may be actuated at a desired location to suspend a liner/casing from a surrounding casing string. An anti-preset module may be used in cooperation with the liner hanger to prevent premature actuation of the liner hanger. By way of example, the anti-preset module may use pressure equalization between a region within the miming string and a region between the miming string and the liner hanger to prevent pressure imbalances which could actuate the liner hanger. Additionally, a locking mechanism, e.g. releasable lock dogs, may be used to temporarily lock the liner hanger against premature actuation.

The technique utilizes a cementing system having a stage cementing collar in combination with a cup tool. According to an embodiment, the stage cementing collar may comprise a collar body, a no-go connected to the collar body, and a port closure sleeve which serves as a valve positioned to close/open flow ports extending laterally through the collar body. The cup tool may be conveyed downhole on, for example, jointed pipe or coiled tubing, for engagement with the port closure sleeve. The cup tool is used to shift the port closure sleeve between operational positions, e.g. from a port open to a port closed position.
