摘要: A circular annular seal ring made from a resin is adapted to be disposed between an outer member and an inner member that rotate relative to each other. The seal ring is disposed in a circumferential groove of the outer member or the inner member to isolate a liquid space from an external space. The seal ring is formed from an elongated and arcuate rod to define a circle by joining ends of the rod, and has a junction formed from the ends. The seal ring has a radial thickness gradually decreasing from two points that are apart from the junction toward the junction. The points are separated from the junction by an angle of not less than 60 degrees and not more than 150 degrees about a central axis of the circle.

摘要: A sealing assembly for use in a wellbore tool includes thermoplastic materials arranged in a lattice structure to provide a bulk elasticity on the order of elastomeric materials. The lattice structure permits an energizing element of the sealing assembly to deform sufficiently in the elastic range of the thermoplastic materials to provide repeatable sealing capabilities. The lattice structure may be constructed by additive manufacturing processes to include voids therein, which allow the thermoplastic members of the lattice to flex and bend. The energizing element may thereby exhibit a greater elasticity in bulk than the elasticity of the thermoplastic materials themselves. The lattice structure may be enclosed in an outer cover constructed of a polymeric, elastomeric or other material to facilitate the interaction between the seal assembly and the corresponding sealing surfaces of a downhole wellbore tool.

摘要: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a universal-type bracket that incorporates a substantially uniform diameter through-bore. This allows the bracket to accept current sealing arrangements used in these types of pumps, while providing the same or better sealing options as current individual designs. The single through-bore can have multiple undercut features for holding a pump shaft bushing, with an increased wall thickness to allow for an appropriate interference fit with the walls of the through-bore, for example, similar to previous designs. Retaining ring grooves can be added to the through-bore, and retaining rings may be used to provide a positive shoulder for the seal or packing rings to seat against inside the bore. This may allow for various sealing options, such as stuffing seals, one-piece barrier seals, cartridge seals, BTR seals, component seals, and more.

摘要: A damper includes a piston and a cylinder housing the piston, and generates a braking force based on a movement or relative movement of the piston. The piston includes a trunk portion and a seal ring surrounding the trunk portion. A first seal portion against an inner wall of the cylinder is formed on an outer peripheral portion in the seal ring, and a second seal portion against a circumference wall portion projecting from the trunk portion is formed in a front end portion positioned on a pressure chamber side. Also, a support rib portion is provided outside the trunk portion, which allows the seal ring to move within a predetermined range along a moving direction of the piston in a state wherein a movement gap for a fluid is formed between the trunk portion and an inner peripheral portion of the seal ring.

摘要: The present invention provides a seal ring capable of maintaining excellent low torque generation performance for a long term. A seal ring (1) is mounted on an annular groove formed on one member consisting of either a housing having a shaft hole or a rotary shaft inserted into the shaft hole, partly projects from the annular groove and contacts a surface of other member consisting of either the housing or the rotary shaft, and slidably contacts a side wall surface of the annular groove at a non-sealed fluid side thereof, thereby sealing an annular gap between the one member and the other member. An outer diameter side (2a) of the side surface (2) of the ring to be subjected to at least the side wall surface of the annular groove is formed as an inclined surface having an inclined angle in such a way as to decrease a width of the ring from the outer diameter side of the side surface of the ring to an inner diameter side of the side surface thereof. A concave portion (3) which does not contact the side wall surface of the annular groove and communicates with an inner circumferential surface (1b) of the ring is formed on a portion of the inner diameter side (2b) of the side surface of the ring not projecting from the annular groove.
