    摘要: A control system for a vehicle having an engine with an electronic stop-start (ESS) system and a manual transmission and a diagnostic method for a clutch pedal position sensor configured to output a voltage indicative of a level of depression of a clutch pedal that is configured to control engagement and disengagement of a clutch assembly of the manual transmission and a clutch interlock switch configured to output an on/off state indicative of a position of the clutch pedal relative to a fully-depressed position each utilize a controller configured to correlate the output voltage of the clutch pedal position sensor and the on/off state of the clutch interlock switch to detect a malfunction of the clutch pedal position sensor or the clutch interlock switch, and disable the ESS system when the malfunction of the clutch pedal position sensor or the clutch interlock switch is detected.

    摘要: In a method, a master cylinder pressure signal, a brake pedal position signal and a brake torque signal provided by an electronic control unit of an anti-lock braking system are rationalized. The master cylinder pressure signal is rationalized against the brake pedal position signal, the brake pedal position signal is rationalized against the master cylinder pressure signal and the brake torque signal is rationalized against the brake pedal position signal. The rationalizations utilize a difference between a maximum value of the signal being rationalized recorded during a maximum value learn period and a minimum value of the signal being rationalized recorded during a minimum value learn period. The rationalization is successful when this difference is greater than a rationalization value.

    摘要: Diagnostic systems and methods for a surge valve that selectively bypasses a compressor of a turbocharger of an engine involve receiving, by a controller, a barometric pressure signal indicative of a barometric pressure external to the engine, receiving, by the controller, a throttle inlet pressure (TIP) signal indicative of an air pressure at an inlet of a throttle valve of the engine and downstream from the surge valve and the compressor, and performing, by the controller, a diagnostic technique on the surge valve, the diagnostic technique comprising generating a pressure ratio signal that is a ratio of the TIP signal to the barometric pressure signal, applying a high-pass filter to the pressure ratio signal to obtain a filtered pressure ratio signal, and based on a quantity of detected pulses in the filtered pressure ratio signal that exceed the diagnostic threshold, detecting a malfunction of the surge valve.
