Abstract: A one-side brake control system and method perform distribution of torques between front and rear wheels. The one-side brake control system includes a target steering angle input unit to which a target steering angle of a driver or a controller of an autonomous vehicle is input when a steering system fails, an integrated Electronic Control Unit (ECU) configured to calculate a target moment of the vehicle according to the target steering angle input through the target steering angle input unit and calculate brake torques of a one-side front wheel and a one-side rear wheel of the vehicle based on the target moment, and a braking ECU configured to control one or more braking actuators of the one-side front wheel and the one-side rear wheel of the vehicle according to the brake torque of the front wheel and the rear wheel transmitted from the integrated ECU to perform one-side brake.

Abstract: Examples herein include a brake hydraulic pressure control device and a brake hydraulic pressure control method capable of preventing a rear wheel of a saddle-type vehicle from lifting. The brake hydraulic pressure control device of a saddle-type vehicle is configured to execute anti-lock brake control and determine an opening time of one opening of a hydraulic pressure adjusting valve, and control the hydraulic pressure adjusting valve to repeatedly open for the opening time and close a main flow path, causing a brake fluid to flow from a master cylinder to a wheel cylinder. A pressure of the brake fluid in the wheel cylinder is increased after a decrease in the pressure of the brake fluid in the wheel cylinder during the anti-lock brake control. The opening time is determined according to the pressure of the brake fluid in the master cylinder and the input gradient of the brake lever.

Abstract: An electronically slip-controllable power brake system, The system includes pressure-medium-actuable wheel brakes on a first axle and electromechanically actuable wheel brakes on a second axle of a motor vehicle. A controllable first pressure medium connection is provided between the brake master cylinder and the simulator and a controllable second pressure medium connection is provided between the brake master cylinder and one of the pressure-medium-actuated wheel brakes.

Abstract: A method controls a brake system of a vehicle combination. The switching valve in the second setting (anti-jackknifing braking function active) outputs a reservoir pressure into a trailer pressure line to actuate the trailer service brakes dependent on the anti-jackknifing braking demand. When service braking demand and anti-jackknifing braking demand are simultaneously present, an anti-jackknifing and a service braking ratio value are determined, a switchover criterion is checked dependent on the ratio values. The criterion is satisfied if the service braking ratio value exceeds a specified fraction of the anti-jackknifing braking ratio value when the anti-jackknifing braking function is active and falls below the specified fraction when the anti-jackknifing braking function is inactive; and, if the criterion is satisfied, the switching valve is switched over to activate the anti-jackknifing braking function and implement the anti-jackknifing braking demand, or to deactivate the anti-jackknifing braking function and implement the service braking demand.

Abstract: A brake system may include an actuation device, in particular a brake pedal, a first piston-cylinder unit with two pistons, in particular an auxiliary piston and a second piston, in order to supply a pressure medium to brake circuits via a valve device. One of the pistons, in particular the auxiliary piston, can be actuated by means of the actuation device. The brake system may further include a second piston-cylinder unit with an electric motor-powered drive, a transmission, and at least one piston to supply a pressure medium to at least one of the brake circuits via a valve device and a motor-pump unit with a valve device to supply a pressure medium to the brake circuits. According to one aspect, a hydraulic travel simulator is connected to a pressure or working chamber of the first piston-cylinder unit.

Abstract: Brake force distribution during an anti-lock braking (ABS) event in a vehicle using an electronic parking brake (EPB) force to supplement a primary brake pressure is described. In an example, an vehicle control system of the vehicle can detect when an ABS event is going to occur and a primary brake pressure can be applied to a rotor at a wheel of the vehicle using a primary brake system. An EPB brake pressure can be applied to the rotor using an EPB brake system to reduce the pressure required to be applied by the primary brake pressure. As a result, the primary brake system may be sized to accommodate normal braking and to accommodate ABS braking when supplemented by the EPB system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for antiskid brake control include a brake control unit (BCU) configured to generate a brake command signal adjusted for a wide range of brake coefficient of friction based upon a real-time aircraft kinetic energy value. A method for antiskid brake control includes receiving, by a BCU, an aircraft mass and a wheel speed signal. The BCU determines an aircraft speed based upon the wheel speed signal and calculates the aircraft kinetic energy using the aircraft speed and aircraft mass. One or more antiskid parameters (e.g., proportional gain, a derivative gain, and/or deceleration target value) are adjusted based upon the aircraft kinetic energy to generate, by the brake control unit, an optimal antiskid brake command signal.

Abstract: The disclosure provides an anti-lock brake device including an oil pressure tank, a valve, and a movable component. The oil pressure tank has an accommodation space, an oil inlet channel, and an oil outlet channel connected to the accommodation space. The valve is slidably located in the oil inlet channel and for sealing or opening an oil inlet of the oil inlet channel. The movable component is located in the accommodation space and has a connecting channel corresponding to the oil inlet and an oil outlet of the oil outlet channel. When the movable component is slid to a depressurized position, the movable component is moved away from the valve for sealing the oil inlet, a first volume is produced between the connecting channel and the oil inlet, and a second volume, smaller than the first volume, is removed from between the connecting channel and the oil outlet.
