摘要： A method for centering the disk of a disk stack assembly. The method includes the step of applying a torque to the disk stack and spinning the disks. Both the torque and the spinning speed are less than normal operating values. A series of radial forces may then be applied to the disk stack. The series of forces will cause the rotating disks to self center. The rotating disks are eventually spun down and a full torque is applied to the disk stack to secure the disks.

摘要： A drive arrangement (12) for a wind turbine (10) is disclosed, having a rotor shaft (20) and a gearbox assembly (22) for transferring torque to an electrical power generator (18). The gearbox assembly comprises an input shaft (40), an output shaft (42), a primary gear stage (44) and a secondary gear stage (46). The drive arrangement also comprises a drive transfer mechanism (24) for transferring torque from the rotor shaft into the gearbox assembly via the input shaft, and a primary load carrying member (56) for releasably mounting the gearbox assembly to a housing (34) of the turbine. The rotor shaft is at least partly hollow, having an internal cavity (28) in which at least parts of the gearbox assembly and drive transfer mechanism are located. The gearbox assembly is mountable within the rotor shaft as a single unit by the primary load carrying member.

摘要： The invention relates to a drive arrangement for a wind turbine, and to a wind turbine incorporating a drive arrangement. In one embodiment, a drive arrangement (12) for a wind turbine (10) is disclosed which comprises a rotor shaft (20); a gearbox assembly (22) for transferring torque from the rotor shaft to an electrical power generator (18), the gearbox assembly comprising: an input shaft (40); an output shaft (42); a primary gear stage (44); and a secondary gear stage (46), each gear stage having a plurality of planet gears (52; 58) positioned around the output shaft, an annular gear (84; 86) meshed with the planet gears, and a sun gear (82; 88) meshed with the planet gears and arranged to transfer torque to the output shaft. The drive arrangement also comprises a drive transfer mechanism (24) for transferring torque from the rotor shaft into the gearbox assembly via the input shaft; and a primary load carrying member (56) for releasably mounting the gearbox assembly to a housing (34) of the wind turbine. The rotor shaft is at least partly hollow, having an internal cavity (28) in which at least part of the gearbox assembly and at least part of the drive transfer mechanism are located. The gearbox assembly comprising the input shaft, output shaft, primary and secondary gear stages is mountable within the rotor shaft as a single unit by means of the primary load carrying member.

摘要： A method for providing wireless communications system providers to adjust when soft and hard handoffs occur relative to the signal strengths of surrounding antennae. This is achieved by providing two sets of parameters. The first set of parameters is used to adjust either hard or soft handoffs, and the second set of parameters are added as an offset to the first set of parameters to adjust the other handoff, thereby, allowing the wireless communications system providers system to adjust soft and hard handoffs independently.

摘要： A method, system, and program for modifying a DHCP configuration for one system according to a request from another system are provided. A first system specifies a modify packet to request modification of a stored configuration for a dynamically configured system. The first system then sends the modify packet to a DHCP server that manages the stored configuration for the dynamically configured system. Responsive to the DHCP server authenticating the first system as privileged to make the modification request, the DHCP server modifies the stored configuration according to the modify packet, such that one system can request modification of the DHCP configuration for another system without logging into the DHCP server.
