摘要： A system and method for partitioning and transmitting a frame configuration in a wireless communication system is provided. A preferred embodiment comprises a method for determining a frame configuration in H-FDD systems where multiple time domain groups are supported is disclosed. Another embodiment provides a method for a base station for transmitting an indication of a frame configuration in H-FDD systems where multiple time domain groups are supported. Further, if the mobile stations enter into an error condition because they did not receive the frame configuration, an error recovery process may be utilized to self-recover from the error condition.

A preferred embodiment comprises a base station defining a normal header and a reduced header, wherein the reduced header has a smaller number of bytes than the normal header. The base station then concatenates the reduced header with smaller sized payloads and concatenates the normal header with larger sized payloads.

摘要： A method and system for multicast and broadcast system (MCBCS) synchronization and macro diversity is provided. In an embodiment, an MBS Proxy creates the necessary messages with synchronization rules embedded therein. The messages are provided to an MBS Distributed DPF and a base station, which performs a final PHY frame construction for transmission. In another embodiment, the MBS Proxy provides the necessary information to the base station and the base station creates the messages, including the synchronization rules. In yet another embodiment, the base station receives raw IP packet information and synchronization information. In this last embodiment, the base station creates the packets and frames based on the information provided to it.

The method includes providing a wireless communication network. The wireless communication network includes a wireless device, a first access network and a second access network. The first access network includes a first data associated with the wireless device. The method also includes sending a first request for service by the wireless device to the second access network. The method additionally includes determining by the second access network whether the second access network has a second data for serving the wireless device. Also, the method includes sending a second request by the second access network to the first access network if the second access network does not have the second data. The second request is associated with serving the wireless device.

摘要： System and method for providing wireless communications is provided. Communications are established between a mobile station and a base station, and the mobile station is provided a list of network providers that can be accessed via the base station. The list of network providers may include identifiers of the available network service providers or both identifiers and names of the available network service providers, and may be provided as a result of a broadcast message or in response to a request. The mobile station may further request the realm of a visited network service provider in order to properly decorate an EAP authentication information request. By transmitting a properly decorated EAP authentication request, the mobile station can determine the type of authentication to be performed and provide it to the visited network service provider.
