    摘要: An uneven-surface data detection apparatus, includes a transparent plate having an uneven-surface contact portion against which an uneven surface to be detected is pressed. A light source illuminates the uneven-surface contact portion through the transparent plate. An uneven-surface image drawing out optical element draws out the light reflected on the uneven-surface contact portion of the transparent plate. A detector detects the light drawn out from the transparent plate by the optical element.Light reflected by a projection-facing portion of the uneven surface contact portion to be introduced into the detector diverges from a propagation direction of light reflected by a recess-facing portion of the uneven surface contact portion. The optical element is arranged to guide the light reflected by the projection-facing portion into the detector.

    摘要: An optical scanner suitable for use with a bar code reader includes a light source for generating a laser beam, a laser beam scanning device, a scanning pattern generating optical system, and a signal light condensing optical system for deflecting scattered signal light scattered by an object to be read to introduce the light to a photo-detector. The scanning pattern generating optical system or signal light condensing optical system includes strips of planar reflective holograms disposed substantially in parallel with each other in one plane to produce a reflection beam having an angle of reflection which is different from an angle of incidence of the laser beam thereon. Another embodiment discloses a condenser integrated with one of plane mirrors for deflecting the scan beam to form a hologram module of the reflection type. The scanner is a miniaturized apparatus as a result of the reflection holograms.

    摘要: A light beam scanning apparatus includes a rotatable holographic disk having a hologram which is constructed by an interference of a reference wave and an objective wave, which is a coma wave, the coma wave having a focal length which decreases toward the outer periphery from the inner periphery of the holographic disk in a radial direction. The focal length has a different direction perpendicular to the radial direction, so that when the hologram of the holographic disk which rotates is reconstructed by a reconstruction wave, the scanning is effected by the beams diffracted by the hologram.

    摘要: A method for constructing a hologram on a transparent disk which includes two steps. First, irradiating a reference wave light beam having a diverging spherical wave front from a first point light source located at a predetermined distance on a center axis of the transparent disk. Second, irradiating an object wave light beam having a diverging spherical wave front from a second point light source located at a predetermined distance on a normal line away from a predetermined distance from the center axis. The result is interference between the reference wave light beam irradiated by the first point light source and the object wave light beam irradiated by the second point light source on the transparent disk and the formation of interference fringes having an extreme value of a spatial frequency as a hologram in one embodiment, a reconstruction beam is irradiated to the position, or in the vicinity of the extreme value.
