    摘要: A subscriber digital transmission system has a central office terminal and a remote terminal coupled to the central office terminal by a digital line, the remote terminal accommodating a plurality of subscribers. The system includes a communication unit for transmitting a multiple signal via the digital line between the central office terminal and the remote terminal, information being multiplexed in a plurality of time slots in the multiple signal, and a multiplexer for multiplexing information for the subscribers and performance information in accordance with a time-division multiprocessing so that the performance information is assigned to a predetermined time slot of the multiple signal to be transmitted by the communication unit.

    摘要: An information processing apparatus includes active units and a standby unit. In the active units and the standby unit, CPUs and DIMMs are divided into a plurality of logical partitions, which are controlled to be diagnosed respectively by diagnosing units. A scheduling unit periodically diagnoses the CPUs and the DIMMs of the standby unit in each of the partitions in turn. If a fault occurs on the active units side, a switching controlling unit controls a partition not being diagnosed in the standby unit to be embedded in an active unit system of the information processing apparatus. The scheduling unit instructs a diagnosis with a smaller number of diagnosis items as a diagnosis performed at reboot after the standby unit is embedded.

    摘要: A first group of asynchronous clock converters effect the conversion between a DNE clock and an RDT clock to which DS-0 data and signalling data are synchronized, for the data items which are transferred between a cross-connector and a DNE. A second group of asynchronous clock converters effect the conversion between a CPE clock and the RDT clock to which DS-0 data and signalling data are synchronized, for the data items which are transferred between the cross-connector and a CPE. As a result, cross-connect processes based on the single RDT clock are realized, and loop timings are guaranteed for the DNE and the CPE.
