The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a composite prepared by molecularly encapsulating a fermented sumac (Rhus javanica L.) extract with a cyclodextrin derivative as an active ingredient. More particularly, the present invention relates to a skin-whitening or antioxidant composition comprising a composite prepared by molecularly encapsulating a fermented sumac (Rhus javanica L.) extract with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention exhibits better skin-whitening and antioxidant effect than the existing cosmetic composition comprising 4-n-butylresorcinol, while having better stability. Further, since it is originated from natural materials with much less skin irritation, it can be effectively used to prepare functional skin-whitening and antioxidant cosmetic products.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing high-purity ginsenoside Rd using Lactobacillus casei, more particularly to a method for preparing high-purity ginsenoside Rd using Lactobacillus casei and an anti-wrinkle cosmetic composition comprising the high-purity ginsenoside Rd as an active ingredient. Since the method of the present invention is simple and can economically prepare high-purity ginsenoside Rd extract, it may make the best use of anti-wrinkle effect of the ginsenoside Rd. In addition, the present invention can increase stability and decrease skin irritation by preparing water-soluble molecular capsule of high-purity ginsenoside Rd, thereby having advantage of increasing applicability ginsenoside Rd radically.

The present invention relates to a method for isolating and purifying only a certain unsaturated fatty acid in a high purity from fatty acids present in oils including vegetable oils and fish oils by means of crystallization. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for isolating and purifying only the desired unsaturated fatty acid in a high purity from fatty acids present in oils by selectively using a urea-addition crystallization, and a cooling crystallization or a high liquid chromatography. Specifically, the present invention provides a method for isolating and purifying linoleic acid or oleic acid as unsaturated fatty acids, in a high purity of at least 99% by subjecting fatty acids derived from oils, particularly, a vegetable oil containing linoleic acid or oleic acid at a high concentration, such as safflower oil, corn germ oil or olive oil, as the raw material to two-step urea-addition crystallization using methanol and urea and then crystallizing the concentrated unsaturated fatty acid from an organic solvent under cooling at temperature of −5° C. to −10° C. without stirring, or a method for isolating eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) as unsaturated fatty acid, in a high purity of at least 99% by subjecting fatty acids derived from oils, particularly, a fish oil containing EPA at a high concentration, such as sardine oil, as the raw material to two-step urea-addition crystallization using methanol and urea to obtain a concentrated unsaturated fatty acid having a high purity and then further purifying the high-purified, concentrated fatty acid by means of a high liquid chromatography using a column filled with Ag-silica or Ag-alumina.

Disclosed relates to a method for improving a conversion rate of oil soluble unsaturated lipids into water-soluble lipids and, more particularly, to a method for improving a conversion rate of oil soluble unsaturated lipids into water-soluble lipids that forms an unsaturated lipid-chloride derivative having an increased reaction activity by using a pyridine-thionyl chloride as a catalyst, not directly causing a reaction between the unsaturated lipids and amino acids, or that applies an emulsifier to cause a reaction between the unsaturated lipids and amino acids so as to minimize the size of lipid particles to a nano-size of less than 50 nm, thus improving the reaction conversion rate to more than 99%.
