摘要： Disclosed herein are a terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) tuner of a low intermediate frequency (IF) structure which is applied to a mobile communication terminal, such as a mobile phone, and an image rejection mixer applied thereto. In order to improve inter-channel attenuation characteristics, the image rejection mixer locates an oscillation frequency above or beneath the frequency of a target signal to include an image signal of the target signal in a terrestrial DMB band, mixes a radio frequency (RF) signal with the oscillation frequency, and outputs the resulting IF signals to a polyphase filter in a selected arrangement. Because the image signal of the target signal is included in the terrestrial DMB band, the image rejection mixer can satisfy the inter-channel attenuation characteristics without a troublesome or complex design.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a receiver for down-conversion of a dual band. The receiver can down convert radio frequency signals of two different bands into a desired IF signal using only one voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), by dividing the output of the VCO into a predetermined ratio with a divider. The VCO outputs a desired oscillating frequency for conversion of the first-band RF signal into the IF signal, and the divider divides the desired oscillating frequency in a predetermined ratio to output a frequency for conversion of the second-band RF signal into the IF signal. Thus, the receiver can be formed on one silicon substrate.

The compressor comprises a closed container, a compressing unit including a compressing compartment to perform compression of refrigerant, a driving unit including a low-speed motor having four poles or more to supply compressing power according to the compression of the refrigerant, and a turbocharger to increase the amount of the refrigerant flowing to the compressing compartment. Even with the low-speed motor employed as the driving unit, the compressor can remarkably reduce operational noise without deteriorating cooling capability.

The pulsation damping flow path is provided inside a discharge silencer, and is adapted to communicate the discharge silencer with a discharge chamber defined in a cylinder head. The pulsation damping flow path is formed to have a plurality of passages. Accordingly, by reducing a diameter of the respective passages down to a relatively small value compared to that of a conventional pulsation pipe, it is possible to considerably attenuate the pulsation of a refrigerant. Further, since the plural passages allow a constant amount of the refrigerant to continuously pass therethrough, it is possible to prevent an increase in a starting voltage of the compressor and the consumption of electricity thereof.
