摘要: The present invention discloses a home network system (1) using a living network control protocol. The home network system (1) includes: at least one electric device; (40-49); a network manager (20-23) for controlling and monitoring the electric device (40-49); and a network based on a predetermined protocol, for connecting the electric device (40-49) and the network managers (20-23), wherein the network manager (20-23) stores a HomNet Profile containing information on the electric device (40-49), and updates the HomNet Profile by communicating with the electric device (40-49) through the network, wherein the HomNet Profile comprises at least one of a device information file containing specific intrinsic information on the electric device, a node parameter file containing a node parameter designated for the electric device, a device operation file containing data on an operational state of the electric device and a scenario file for defining supplementary services for the electric device.

摘要: A home network system which can efficiently configure a new home appliance in the home network system. The home network system includes at least one new device newly connected to a master device through a network, for transmitting a plugged-in request message containing an initial address through the network, receiving an address change request message containing a logical address, and changing the initial address to the logical address, and at least one master device connected to the new device through the network, for receiving the plugged-in request message from the new device, setting the logical address for the new device, and transmitting the address change request message containing the logical address to the new device, wherein the initial address comprises at least a product code and a logical address of the new device, and the new device changes the logical address to the logical address set by the master device.

摘要: The present invention discloses a home network system (100) which uses a message structure for efficient communication between a plurality of home appliances. The home network system (100) includes at least one slave device (60, 70, 80), and at least one master device (50) connected to the slave device (60, 70, 80) through a network (90), for transmitting a request message to the slave device (60, 70, 80), wherein the request message is transmitted from an upper layer of the master device (50) to a lower layer thereof and from a lower layer of the slave device (60, 70, 80) to an upper layer thereof, and has a command code implying an operation which will be executed by the slave device (60, 70, 80), and a related argument for executing the operation.

The upgrade apparatus for the home network system is installed in the home network system having a first storage unit in which at least one protected program has been installed, and includes n upgrade means for deciding whether a second storage unit separated from the first storage unit stores an upgrade file corresponding to the protected program, and upgrading the protected program by using the upgrade file according to the decision result.

摘要: The present invention discloses a home network system (100) which can easily control home appliances by performing a preset control command for a predetermined event when the event is generated. The home network system (100) includes at least one slave device (60), and a master device (50) connected to the slave devices (60) through a predetermined network (90). The master device (50) stores an event file including an externally-inputted generation condition of a predetermined event and a control command for the event, and transmits an event set file including at least the generation condition of the event to the slave device (60) corresponding to the generation condition of the event, and the slave device (60) stores the event set file and transmits an event notification file to the master device (50) when the event is generated, so that the master device (50) can receive the event notification file and make the corresponding control command performed.

The home network system includes: at least one new device including a node address having an initial logical address through a network based on a predetermined protocol, transmitting a configuration request message having the node address to a master device, receiving a temporary address setting request message, changing the initial logical address by selecting one temporary logical address, generating a temporary address setting response message, transmitting the temporary address setting response message to the master device, receiving an address change request message having a predetermined logical address from the master device, changing the temporary logical address into the received logical address, and having a unique node address; and at least one master device for receiving the plurality of configuration request messages from the new device, setting the temporary logical address range for the new device, transmitting the temporary address setting request message having the set temporary logical address range to the new device, receiving the temporary address setting response message from the new device, setting the predetermined logical address of the new device, and transmitting the address change request message having the set logical address to the new device of the selected temporary address.
