Filtering image data can include determining a desired depth of field of an image, determining a distance between a pixel of the image and the desired depth of field. Filtering image data can also include adjusting a contrast of the pixel in proportion to a magnitude of a weight of the pixel, wherein the weight is based on the distance.

The system includes an external force sensor configured to measure a magnitude of at least one external force acting upon a movable object disposed within a camera and to generate a force signal that is indicative of the magnitude of the at least one external force. The system also includes a positioning motor configured to control a physical location of the movable object in response to a positioning signal. The system further includes a position controller configured to generate the positioning signal at a magnitude that is adjusted in response to the force signal to substantially compensate for the at least one external force in controlling the physical location of the movable object.

摘要: A readout frequency of a sensor of a digital image capturing device is set based on a frequency of alternating current (AC) mains so that a readout period of the sensor of the digital image capturing device is not an integer multiple of a flicker period. The flicker period is equal to half of a period of the AC mains. A first image frame and a second image frame are captured using the sensor of the digital image capturing device. The second image frame is captured later in time than the first image frame. Whether flicker has occurred in the first and second image frames due to a periodic fluctuation of light emitted by a light source powered by the AC mains is detected by comparing a brightness of an area of the first image frame to a brightness of a corresponding area of the second image frame.
