Abstract: In a communication system, a reception of an image forming device receives image data from a mobile terminal. The image forming device prints an image based on the received image data. The image forming device transmits an address of the reception section to the mobile terminal and receives image data transmitted with the address by the mobile terminal in wireless communication. The mobile terminal accepts a selection of wireless printing application program from plural application programs and displays, side by side, thumbnails of plural items of image data stored in a storage section when the wireless printing application program is started. The mobile terminal further accepts a selection of image data from plural displayed thumbnails and wirelessly transmits the selected image data with the address to the image forming device.

Abstract: In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to an external device. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data and prints an image. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed either by a first or second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.

Abstract: An image display apparatus includes a display unit for displaying an image, a detecting unit for detecting a position designated by an operation of designating a position on the displayed image and a file operation unit operating a file. The display unit displays images generated from a file on page-by-page basis on a partial area of the display unit.
