A computer system is installed with a first operating system in a data storage therein. The method includes the following steps: the computer system executing the BIOS of the computer system; before loading and executing the first operating system, the computer system detecting and activating a touch-control display device; the touch-control display device displaying executive item icons representing internet service accessing programs; detecting the executive item icon selection by the user; based on the selection, loading and executing the first operating system; and executing the internet service accessing program corresponding to the selected executive item icon.

摘要： The present invention in one aspect relates to a source driver comprising a first digital-to-analog converter with a positive polarity (PDAC), a second digital-to-analog converter with a negative polarity (NDAC), a first operational amplifier and a second operational amplifier. Each operational amplifier is characterized with a 1st & 2nd stage and an output stage. Both the PDAC and NDAC are coupled to the first and second operational amplifiers through a first pair of switches. The 1st & 2nd and output stages of the first operational amplifier are coupled to the 1st & 2nd and output stages of the second operational amplifier through a second pair of switches. The first and second operational amplifiers are coupled to odd data lines and even data line through a third pair of switches. Further, the amplitudes of the operational voltages for the PDAC, the NDAC and the output stages first and second operational amplifiers are set to be between the supply voltage and the ground voltage. Accordingly, the power consumption and the operational temperature are substantially reduced.

摘要： A dual-CPU computer-based multimedia system is provided, including a computer connected to a multimedia playing control module. The multimedia playing control module has a second CPU connected to the computer through a bus, a multimedia activation and playing system memory connected to the second CPU and storing a second operating system and a kernel program, and at least a hotkey, connected to the second CPU through a hotkey interface circuit, with each hotkey corresponding to a multimedia player. When the second PCU detects any hotkey being operated, the second PCU loads the kernel of the second operating system from the multimedia activation and playing system memory and executes the kernel. Then, the second CPU loads and executes the driver and the application program for the multimedia player corresponding to the operated hotkey.

摘要： A method for fast activation and playing of multimedia data from a data disk with pre-installed operating system is provided. A boot sector of the data disk is pre-installed with a selected operating system for activating the computer. The data disk also stores a multimedia playing application program and multimedia data. When the computer is turned on, the computer uses the data disk as an activation device, and loads and executes the operating system in the data disk. Then, the computer executes the multimedia playing application program to read the multimedia data in the data disk. The system memory of the computer is configured with a random access memory region for the space required for executing the operating system and the multimedia playing application program.
