Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data caching for fast system boot-up are described. A memory system may create a linked mapping of addresses, which may also be referred to as a mixed page pointer table. The linked mapping may include logical addresses associated with commands received during a boot-up procedure, and their associated physical addresses. The linked mapping may also include a counter associated with each logical address to track how often the logical address is referenced during successive boot-up procedures. Over successive boot-up procedures, addresses may be added or removed from the linked mapping, and sequential addresses may be compressed. The memory device may use the linked mapping to predict which data may be accessed during the boot-up procedure, and may pre-transfer the data to volatile memory based on the prediction.

Abstract: A method for managing an information technology infrastructure is provided. The method may include generating a workspace configured to maintain configurations for the information technology infrastructure. A configuration file specifying configurations to apply to the information technology infrastructure may be merged into the workspace. An execution plan may be generated based on the workspace. The execution plan may include operations to apply, to the information technology infrastructure, the configurations specified in the configuration file. The configurations may be applied, based on the execution plan, by at least provisioning, modifying, and/or de-provisioning one or more resources at the information technology infrastructure. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for peer booting server nodes on an edge zone. For example, an edge zone may include data plane devices capable of hosting virtual machines and other cloud-based services thereon that provide low-latency services to customers of a cloud computing system. Systems described herein implement an operating system (OS) provisioning system that, in combination with a peer booting system on a server node, facilitates instantiation of an OS on the server node as well as enabling the server node to act as an OS provider service to other server nodes on the edge zone. The systems disclosed herein facilitate fast installation of OS services without overutilizing limited bandwidth resources of a virtual network that connects the server nodes with control plane devices remotely maintained at a datacenter.

Abstract: Technology is disclosed for establishing and administering multiple virtual machines, each with an audio, video and control (AVC) operating system (OS). The technology can also establish and administer cloud based AVC OSs. A server implementing this technology can perform real-time AVC processing, alongside soft and non-real-time processing and can host multiple, independent, virtual AVC OSs. Each AVC OS can perform the processing for an AVC setup. Each of the AVC OSs can be operated by a corresponding virtual machine controlled by a hypervisor running on the server. A cloud based AVC OS can perform processing for a corresponding remote AVC setup comprising multiple AVC devices. An AVC routing system can cause AVC signals from a particular AVC setup to reach a corresponding cloud AVC OS and conversely can cause signals from an AVC OS to reach the correct destination device.
