Abstract: A method and a display device for uniform image display are provided. The method is used for a full in-cell display device and includes steps of: a display device inputting a first image signal, compensating the first image signal according to image compensation data to obtain a third image signal and displaying the third image signal. The display device includes a color filter substrate, an array substrate and a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween. A side of the array substrate facing toward the liquid crystal layer is disposed touch electrodes. The touch electrodes are combined with common electrodes of the array substrate and arranged on the array substrate in a matrix. The compensation data are common electrode voltage offsets determined according to differences between grayscale information of the first image signal and an original second image signal. Accordingly, the invention can effectively improve the displayed image uniformity.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a display device capable of performing black frame insertion. The gamma circuit comprises an either-or multiplex selector. The input data of one input end of the selector is a VCOM voltage outputted by the gamma circuit, and the input data of the other input end of the selector is a voltage converted from a predetermined value after digital to analog conversion stored in a multi time programmable memory of the gamma circuit. As the selector selects the VCOM voltage outputted by the gamma circuit under control of the control port, the outputted VCOM voltage is amplified by an operational amplifier in the gamma circuit and then outputted to the source driving circuit to be a first gamma reference voltage which is required as the source driving circuit performs digital to analog conversion.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a driving method thereof are provided. The LCD panel includes display pixels each including RGBW display sub-pixels. The method includes: receiving an image data for representing a to-be-displayed image including image pixels; calculating RGBW image sub-pixel data corresponding to the image pixels according to the image data; using a first predetermined number of image pixels as a repeat unit and generating RGBW display sub-pixel data corresponding to a second predetermined number of display pixels by using each repeat unit in a pixel sharing manner, the first predetermined number being greater than the second predetermined number; and using the RGBW display sub-pixel data to drive RGBW display sub-pixels of corresponding display pixels. Accordingly, the edge blur phenomenon can be effectively improved by the image pixel sharing.

Abstract: An LCD device includes: multiple data lines, scanning lines, pixel units and switching elements. First terminals of the switching elements are connected together for receiving a control signal. Second terminals of the switching elements are connected together for receiving a reference voltage signal. Third terminal of each switching element is connected to a corresponding data line. When the control signal is a first control signal, each switching element is turned off, grayscale voltage signals are applied on corresponding pixel units, and a normal image frame is displayed. When the control signal is a second control signal, each switching element is turned on, the reference voltage signal is applied on the pixel units, an inserted black frame is displayed. A simple and power-saving way for an inserted black frame is realized to solve the cross talk in 3D display or a serious image smear problem in low refresh rate.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an in-cell touch screen and a driving method thereof. The method comprises: implementing scan to a display circuit in an active area and implementing scan to a touch control circuit in another active area in the meantime. Abstract: The present application provides a method and display apparatus for improving uniformity of displayed image, The method comprises inputting a first image signal to a display apparatus; compensating the first image signal in accordance with an image compensation data to obtain a third image signal, wherein the image compensation data is an amount of shift in a voltage of a common electrode of an array substrate of the display apparatus determined in accordance with a difference value between a grey level information of the first image signal and the grey level information of an original second image signal corresponding to the first image signal; and displaying the third image signal. Through the method above, the present invention effectively improves the uniformity of the displayed image without decreasing the displayed brightness of the image.
