摘要: An information processing system including a device capable of transmitting sensing information in accordance with a result of sensing of motion and receiving data for performing various types of processing in accordance with the sensing information is provided. In a character selection screen, in addition to a “course 1” and a “course 2”, additionally obtained “course 3” and “course 4” are displayed in a selectable manner. Namely, the number of steps or the like sensed as a user walks while wearing a pedometer in advance is returned from the pedometer to a game device, so that a new course in addition to a course determined depending on a stage in a get and growth game in the game device can be selected.

摘要: A method is provided for controlling bus-using rights in a multi-bus system which has a plurality of buses and a plurality of units connected to each of the buses. A unit connected to one bus is accessible by another unit connected to another bus. When a first unit accesses either a second unit on the one bus or a third unit on another bus, two requests for use of the one and another buses are issued substantially at the same time, thereby reducing the time taken for acquiring a bus-using right of the another bus. As soon as it is found that access is directed to the second unit on the one bus, the request for using the another bus is canceled, thus reducing a bus occupation rate for the another bus.

摘要: A packet switching is performed according to a routing information for relaying particular packets which is produced by the route computation based on the information of a received packet and the kept parts-of-routing-information useful as a basis for the route computation. At this time, the route through which the packet is relayed is determined on the basis of the kept parts-of-routing-information before the route computation. Then, the received packet is relayed according to the determined route. Next, a new routing information is produced by the route computation based on the information of the received packet and the parts-of-routing-information. Thereafter, the succeeding packets of the same route are relayed on the basis of the new routing information.

摘要: An infrared and ultraviolet radiation absorbing glass suitable for use in building and vehicle windows, which comprises, on a weight basis, 68-74% of SiO.sub.2, 0.1-3.0% of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 8-11% of CaO, 2.0-4.5% of MgO, 11.5-16.0% of Na.sub.2 O, 0.5-3.0% of K.sub.2 O, 0.1-0.4% of SO.sub.3, 0.10-0.55% of total iron expressed as Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.2-0.6% of CeO.sub.2, 0.3-14 ppm of CoO and 5-20 ppm of Se. In the glass the ratio of ferrous iron to ferric iron is in the range from 0.17 to 0.55. The glass has a bronzy tint and is well balanced in visible light transmittance, infrared radiation absorption and ultraviolet radiation absorption, and a sheet of the glass can be easily tempered by a conventional method.

摘要: A transparent and colorless glass-ceramic containing crystals of .beta.-quartz and .beta.-eucryptite is obtained by heat-treating a glass essentially composed of 63-69 wt % of SiO.sub.2, 18-22 wt % of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 3-5 wt % of Li.sub.2 O, 1-3 wt % of MgO, 4-6 wt % of ZrO.sub.2, 0-2 wt % of ZnO, 0-2 wt % of P.sub.2 O.sub.5, 0-2 wt % of Na.sub.2 O, 0-2 wt % of BaO and 0.3-1 wt % of As.sub.2 O.sub.3, with proviso that the proportion of ZrO.sub.2 to SiO.sub.2 is not lower than a specified level and that the molar ratio of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 to the total of Li.sub.2 O, MgO and ZnO is within a specified range. The thermal expansion coefficient of this glass-ceramic is very close to zero over the range from room temperature to about 300.degree. C.

摘要: A highly-expandable router configuration technology which flexibly meets the need to increase lines as a network grows. A network information sharing unit is provided in a route calculation unit of each router in a clustered router. The network information sharing unit receives an update notification of network information collected by routing protocol units and sends this update information to all other routers in the clustered router as a network information notification packet. The network information sharing units in the receiving router notifies the routing protocol units of the contents of the received updated information. The routing protocol unit updates the network information thereof based on the notified contents, thereby allowing the network information obtained from all routers outside the clustered router to be shared and the clustered router to be recognized externally as a single router.

摘要: An infrared and ultraviolet ray absorbing glass suitable for use in building and vehicle windows, which comprises, on a weight basis, 68-72% SiO.sub.2, 1.6-3.0% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 8.5-11.0% CaO, 2.0-4.2% MgO, 12.0-16.0% Na.sub.2 O, 0.5-3.0% K.sub.2 O, 0.08-0.30% SO.sub.3, 0.58-0.80% total iron expressed as Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.10-0.60% CeO.sub.2, 0.10-0.40% TiO.sub.2 and 5-350 ppm MnO. In the glass the ratio of ferrous iron to ferric iron is from 0.3 to 0.7. The glass has a greenish tint and is well balanced in visible light transmittance, infrared radiation absorption and ultraviolet radiation absorption. The glass can easily be produced as a sheet glass by the conventional float process without significantly varying the melting and refining operation conditions, and the glass sheet can readily be tempered by a conventional method.
