摘要: An improved paper-making hydrous acid filler is prepared by classifying or pulverizing a slurry containing fine particles of hydrous silicic acid, which is obtained by neutralizing sodium silicate with sulfuric acid, by a wet classifier or a wet pulverizer, so that the proportion of particles having a particles size of 1 to 30 .mu.m is at least 80% and the proportion of particles having a particle size of at least 70 .mu.m is not more than 0.4%. The filler has a function of improving the ink receptivity of the paper of the internal additive type and is capable of improving the opacity of the paper after printing.

摘要: A driving device for a liquid jetting apparatus includes an application unit and a controller. The application unit generates and applies a first voltage of a first waveform to a first pressure generating unit and generates and applies a second voltage of a second waveform to the second pressure generating unit to jet a liquid droplet outside a nozzle after pulling liquid inside the nozzle. The second waveform includes at least one of a third waveform corresponding to a jetting angle for changing a jetting direction from a reference direction by deforming a liquid level of liquid pulled inside the nozzle in a direction of pushing the liquid level outside the nozzle, or a fourth waveform corresponding to a jetting angle for changing the jetting direction from the reference direction by deforming the liquid level of liquid pulled inside the nozzle in a direction of further pulling the liquid level.

摘要: A switching device changes over breaking and closing of an electric current by opening/closing a contact portion. An electrically-operated motor generates energy for closing a contact and energy generated by the rotation of the electrically-operated motor is accumulated in a breaking spring. The energy generated by the electrically-operated motor is transmitted to the contact by way of a cam, a breaking spring link, a transfer lever and the like. The breaking spring is arranged in the midst of the converting lever. When the contact is opened, the electrically-operated motor is stopped and the energy accumulated in the breaking spring is released.

摘要: A piezoelectric device includes a piezoelectric body layer, a first electrode layer at one face side of the piezoelectric body layer, and a second electrode layer at a side of a face of the same that is opposite to the side at which the first electrode layer is disposed. Higher potentials are applied to the first electrode layer and lower potentials are applied to the second electrode layer. The piezoelectric device features a metallic layer disposed in contact with a piezoelectric body layer surface at the side at which the first electrode layer is provided, and a metal oxide layer disposed in contact with a piezoelectric body layer surface at the side at which the second electrode layer is provided. The metallic layer is formed of a metallic material with a standard electrode potential greater than 0 V, and the metal oxide layer is formed of a metal oxide.
