摘要： Both thickened end portions of predetermined lengths of an upset steel pipe are preheated simultaneously, in advance of heat treatment of the pipe, in an apparatus provided with means for raising or lowering the stationarily supported upset steel pipe and with a pair of induction heaters for simultaneously heating both end portions of the upset steel pipe in the raised position of the pipe, said pair of induction heaters being set in advance to a relative spacing corresponding to the length of said steel pipe, and reciprocated with strokes corresponding to the lengths of the thickened end portions. The support means for raising and lowering the pipe comprise a plurality of units which may be raised and lowered separately and selectively.

摘要： A multi-pipe quenching apparatus for simultaneously quenching a plurality of steel pipes at a high speed. The apparatus comprises (a) a steel pipe holding table for holding a plurality of steel pipes arranged in parallel which table is provided with a plurality of sets each including a plurality of clamp means for clamping a steel pipe at a plurality of points in the lengthwise direction thereof, and cooling water supply means for supplying water into said pipe through a nozzle pressed thereagainst, and (b) a quenching tank capable of containing water up to a predetermined level as occasion demands; whereby the holding table is vertically moved into and out of the quenching tank and the supply of water into the steel pipes is controlled by the cooling water supply means thereby quenching the steel pipes.

摘要： The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for local administration in the form of an emulsion that contains active vitamin D3 and is suitable for application to areas with (the) hair, while also having satisfactory pharmacological activity, primary drug stability and physical stability. This lotion contains (a) a therapeutically effective amount of active vitamin D3, (b) an oil phase component containing a solid oil component comprising white Petrolatum and a higher alcohol and a liquid oil component comprising squalane, (c) an aqueous phase component containing ionic polysaccharide, and (d) nonionic surfactant; wherein, (1) the content of said ionic polysaccharide is 0.3-1.0 parts by weight of the entire preparation, (2) the content of said higher alcohol is 0.2-1.0 parts by weight of the entire preparation, and (3) the HLB of said nonionic surfactant is 10 or more.

摘要： A cross flow type cooling fan device installed in the internal part of electric appliances which need cooling such as audio-amplifiers, microcomputers, word processors, copying machine, etc. The cross flow type cooling fan device is characterized in that an impeller (107) with air blowing slits formed around a hollow area in the center of a cylindrical body is rotatably supported by supporting frames (109, 110) at the ends thereof through supporting shafts (111, 112), a field magnet (121) is mounted either on a rotary side formed by the impeller (107) or the supporting shafts (111, 112) or on a stationary side formed by the supporting frames (109, 110), and an armature winding (124) is mounted confronting the aforesaid magnet for the motor, so that a rotary driving section of the impeller is constructed resulting in a cooling fan device of considerably reduced size.
