摘要： An electromagnetic switch apparatus incorporating a pair of stationary contacts and a movable contact at the rear end of a magnetic path core, wherein the stationary contacts are respectively composed of a contact part and a conductive part aligned in L-shape, wherein the conductive part at axial-directional side extends to the external circumference of an exciting coil, and wherein a terminal member is connected to an end of this conductive part and extends in the radial direction. A pair of stationary contacts are respectively molded in a pair of insulating members or in an insulating member secured to the rear end of the magnetic path core. An O-ring is secured to the external circumference of the insulating member. A case enveloping the exciting coil and a cover member enveloping those stationary and movable contacts respectively sandwich the O-ring in the axial direction to generate water-proof sealing effect. The intermediate region of a hollow rod which is secured to a movable core and has the front end extended to hollow region of an armature rotating shaft is held inside the internal circumferential region of a stationary core accross minimal gap which narrowly allows the hollow rod to slidably move in the axial direction therein.

摘要： A starter comprises a thermostat for detecting increases in the temperature of brushes and interrupting the energizing of the starter, and a heat conducting member secured to the thermostat for conducting the heat of one of the brushes, the heat conducting member being attached to the brush. The heat conducting member may also be formed integrally with a brush holder. The heat conducting member may additionally be secured to a bracket so as to hold a base therebetween. The heat conducting member may also be composed of a metallic material having superior thermal conductivity, and may be copper or brass. An electrically insulating sheet may be held between the brush holders and the base as heat insulating material for preventing the transfer of heat from the brushes to the base. An electrically insulating tube may also be interposed between the thermostat and a first leg of the heat conducting member.

摘要： A coaxial engine starter comprises an electric motor having an armature winding of a single turn and a hollow armature rotary shaft for generating a rotational force for starting an engine. The starter also comprises an over-running clutch mechanism disposed within the hollow armature rotary shaft for preventing the occurrence of an excessive-speed of the armature and having a pinion having a gear teeth number equal to or less than seven for engaging with a ring gear of an engine upon starting of the electric motor.
