摘要: The plug connection comprises an elastomeric shroud having a plug-receiving portion through which is connected a spark plug comprising an hexagonal handling nut. A metal shield, comprising a top cover portion and two side-shield portions, covers the elastomeric shroud. When mounted, the side-shield portions surround the plug-receiving portions and form joint seam zones, each having a bottom end portion and a top portion. The bottom end portion of one seam zone includes an opening and the bottom end portion of the other seam zone includes a corresponding tab. The side-shield portions further comprise flanges. When the plug connection is connected to the spark plug, the flanges fit onto the hexagonal handling nut and the opening and tab are loosely fitted, so that the joint seam zones can be spaced apart. Preferably, the top portion contains protrusions provided on the side of the side-shield portions and a corresponding recess provided on the side of the top shield, these protrusions and recess fit together when the shield is mounted.

摘要: Bases (10) for guiding a movable end (37) of a conductor path (30) have a cross section along a direction normal to a parallel direction to guide rails (12) that is constant over the entire length. Thus, the bases (10) can be obtained by cutting an elongated raw material to a specified length in conformity with a vehicle type, thereby enabling a cost reduction. Further, since the bases (10) are symmetrical with a moving path of the movable end (37) located therebetween, it is sufficient to prepare only one kind of elongated raw material. In this respect as well, costs can be reduced.

摘要: Elongate bases (10) for guiding a movable end (37) of a conductor path (30). Cross sections taken through the bases substantially normal to the elongation directions of the bases are substantially identical to one another and substantially constant along the elongation direction of the bases. 摘要: A wire harness-wiring sliding part has a sliding part (12) and a rail member (11) on which the sliding part (12) is mounted. The rail member (11) has a pair of opposing guide rail portions (11b) longitudinally disposed opposing each other at a predetermined distance. The sliding part (12) has a holding portion (12a), on both its sides, which hold edges of the opposing guide rail portions (11b). The sliding part (12) is longitudinally slidable on the guide rail portions (11b). A wire harness (14), extending from a vehicle body, is wired from a vehicle body provided with the rail member (11) to a sliding door provided with the sliding part (12). A felt material (13) is installed on an inner surface (12b) of each of the holding portions (12a) of the sliding part (12) in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the rail member (11). The felt material fills a gap between the inner surface (12b) and a peripheral surface of an end portion of the guide rail portion (11b).

摘要: A pressure sensitive sensor is provided that includes a net braid member formed by knitting a plurality of insulating yarn strands, such as an aramid fiber, interposed between an elastic electroconductive tube and a central electrode member. The elastic electroconductive tube and the central electrode member are brought into electrical contact with each other through the gap portion of the mesh of the net braid member at a pressure point, and pressure is detected. The central electrode member is formed by winding an electroconductive metal wire in a coil on the outer peripheral surface of a central member formed by coating an elastic insulating material on a central reinforcing member formed of an aramid fiber. Thus, a pressure sensitive sensor which has a simple construction, can be produced easily and at low cost, is suitable for making a small sensor, and can appropriately function even if the sensor is warped or kinked at a sharp curvature.

摘要: Various embodiments include photonic bandgap fibers (PBGF). Some PBGF embodiments have a hollow core (HC) and may have a square lattice (SQL). In various embodiments, SQL PBGF can have a cladding region including 2-10 layers of air-holes. In various embodiments, an HC SQL PBGF can be configured to provide a relative wavelength transmission window Δλ/λc larger than about 0.35 and a minimum transmission loss in a range from about 70 dB/km to about 0.1 dB/km. In some embodiments, the HC SQL PBGF can be a polarization maintaining fiber. Methods of fabricating PBGF are also disclosed along with some examples of fabricated fibers. Various applications of PBGF are also described.
