摘要: A door latch system of a motor vehicle comprises a latch unit mounted to the vehicle body. The latch unit has a latch condition to latch the door at a closed position and an unlatch condition to unlatch the door thereby to release the door. The system further comprises a power latch canceling mechanism mounted to the vehicle body. The power latch canceling mechanism includes an actuator that, when energized, enforcedly causes the latch unit to assume the unlatch condition. The system further comprises a manual latch canceling mechanism mounted to the vehicle body. The manual latch canceling mechanism includes a handle member that is placed at a position other than a vehicle cabin of the vehicle and a power transmitting member that transmits a movement of the handle member to the latch unit. The manual latch canceling mechanism causes the latch unit to assume the unlatch condition when the handle member is manipulated.

摘要: An outer tube part 8 and an inner tube part 6 which is disposed in an interior of the outer tube part 8 are provided in an air-conditioning duct system which is connected to an air flow path downstream side of a vehicle air-conditioning system, and a side branch type silencer chamber 9 is defined by an inner circumferential surface of the outer tube part 8 and an outer circumferential surface of the inner tube part 6. In addition, an axis of at least a portion of the outer tube part 8 which confronts the inner tube part 6 and an axis of the inner tube part 6 are both made to be a straight line, and a register functioning part is provided in an interior of a portion of the outer tube part 8 which lies further downstream in an air flow path than the inner tube part 6.

摘要: An air intake sound control structure comprises a sound guiding pipe, a sound producing body, and a silencing means. The sound guiding pipe is branched off from a branch portion formed on a part of an air intake flow passage of an automobile, communicating with the air intake flow passage. The sound producing body is held by the sound guiding pipe at the position spaced apart from the branch portion, thereby sealing the sound guiding pipe, and producing a sound at a frequency which corresponds to its own natural vibration frequency by its vibration. The silencing means is disposed on the side of the branch portion of the sound guiding pipe and canceling a sound at a target frequency for suppression out of the air intake sound. The sound generated by the vibration of the sound producing body is transmitted into a vehicle interior.
