摘要: A digital copier and method of processing images in which the images are manipulated and processed utilizing smaller blocks of the image. By working with smaller blocks, the image processing may begin before an entire image is scanned or before the entire image is loaded into a memory or buffer. Further, when printing, the start of the printing process may begin as soon as a row of the smaller blocks is completed without waiting for the generation of the entire manipulated image. The blocks are preferably an integral multiple of the size of a size of a direct memory access buffer, or alternatively, are of a size which may be divided into the size of the direct memory access buffer an integral number of times or are a multiple of the size of the direct memory access buffer. The image processing functions which may be performed include rotation of the image, flipping the image about an axis parallel to a sub-scan direction, logically combining the images by performing functions such as an AND function or an OR function, or generating an image by repeatedly using all or part of another image.

摘要: A digital copier or multi-function device with a scalable architecture which provides for a reusability of the architecture and reduced cost of the system. The digital copier utilizes an industry standard bus such as the PCI bus for communicating image data. Further, the architecture does not require the tightly coupling of added software and hardware. Generally, the processor of the system has the capability to carry out the additional functions and the new software to carry out the added functions may be stored in a disk drive or other memory and executed by the processor. Thus, the added hardware can be controlled by the processor of the digital copier. The image is manipulated in smaller blocks by performing functions such as rotation of the image, flipping of the image, performing a logical function on two images, and repeating a section of the image. The manipulation of the data in blocks in conjunction with the flexible architecture provides for a high speed of copies by the digital copier.

摘要: A safe and efficient machining process design is realized by extracting the unmachined shape and by three-dimensionally visualizing the unmachined shape without generating a machining track. The present device 1 comprises a displacement unit 2 for displacing a machining tool on the surface of a three-dimensional product shape model at arbitrary positions without causing interference between the product shape model and the machining tool, a detection unit 3 for detecting a distance between the arbitrary position and the machining tool, and a preparation unit 4 for preparing the three-dimensional unmachined shape by using the minimum value of the distance obtained for each point on the surface of the shape model when the arbitrary point is moved.

摘要: A body has a configuration in which a first ellipse has a first and second focal points and a second ellipse having a third and fourth points are arranged such that the second and third focal points coincide. This body is equivalent to an optical system having an optical path in which light gathered to the first focal point passes through the first focal point, and is reflected by a first concave reflecting surface, being a part of the first ellipse, to go through the second focal point, and then reflected by a second concave reflecting surface, being a part of the second ellipse, to be gathered to the fourth focal point.

The method comprises removing lines or planes from the screen, and replotting the lines or the planes on the screen in terms of the information of lines or planes unloaded into the storage device after the correction operation of the product shape of the mold profile is completed.
