摘要: A communication system that can improve communication quality by accurately re-creating reproduction timing at the receiving end even at the time of receiving VBR data or in the case of the occurrence of a packet loss. A send rate recognition section recognizes a send rate from a time stamp. A memory stores data. A dummy data addition section adds dummy data for correcting the difference between a read rate set for reading out data from the memory and the send rate to the data written to the memory. A read clock generation section generates a read clock which is equal to the read rate. A dummy data removal section removes the dummy data from the data read out from the memory on the basis of the read clock.

摘要: A coding method to code original data and transmit the coded data as a plurality of data packets to a destination, the coding method comprising: receiving packet loss information associated with the transmission of at least some of the plurality of data packets, the packet loss information including a lost packet restoration rate, a continuous packet loss rate and a packet loss rate of the packets transmitted to the decoding device; and generating an error-correcting redundant packet and inserting the error-correcting redundant packet in subsequent ones of the plurality of data packets for transmission to the destination based on the received packet loss information.

摘要: An organic electroluminescent device includes an anode electrode layer, a cathode electrode layer opposed to the anode electrode layer, and a luminous layer containing an organic compound disposed between the anode electrode layer and the cathode electrode layer. An excitation state of the organic compound in the luminous layer is created upon a hole injection from the anode electrode layer, and an electron injection from the cathode electrode layer, thereby causing light emission in the organic electroluminescent device. An electron-accepting material is provided in at least one hole transportation layer capable of transporting holes injected from the anode electrode layer disposed between the anode electrode layer and the cathode electrode layer, and the electron-accepting material is positioned at a site which is not adjacent to the anode electrode layer.

摘要: An organic electroluminescent (EL) device comprising at least one luminescent layer of an organic compound, the luminescent layer being positioned between a cathode electrode and an anode electrode opposed to the cathode electrode, and an organic layer positioned adjacent to the cathode electrode, in which the organic layer is constituted from an organic metal complex compound containing at least one of alkali metal ions, alkali earth metal ions and rare earth metal ions, and the cathode electrode is constituted from a metal capable of reducing the metal ion in the complex compound, in vacuum, to the corresponding metal. The cathode electrode can be formed from a low cost and stable metal which is well-known as the wiring material. The EL device ensures a diminished energy barrier in an electron injection from the cathode electrode into the luminescent layer, a lowered driving voltage, and a high efficiency and luminescence.
