    摘要: Disclosed is a transmissive liquid crystal projector carrying a vertical alignment liquid crystal device. The liquid crystal projector includes a liquid crystal panel (25), on the light incident side and on the light radiating side of which a light incident side polarizing plate (24) and a light radiating side light polarizing plate (26) are arranged, respectively. A first polarized light component in a light beam collected by an illuminating optical system is transmitted through the light incident side polarizing plate (24) and routed to the liquid crystal panel (25). An optical anisotropic device (45), tilted by a preset angle correlated with the direction of alignment of liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal panel (25), that is, a pre-tilt angle, is arranged between the light incident side polarizing plate (24) and the liquid crystal panel (25) or between the light radiating side light polarizing plate (26) and the liquid crystal panel (25). By so doing, a high contrast ratio may be maintained, while transmittance of the liquid crystal panel may be improved.

The liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate; a liquid crystal layer; a first electrode part; and a second electrode part. The first electrode part includes a pixel electrode formed in the pixel area and a peripheral electrode formed in the peripheral area. The second electrode part includes a pixel electrode part formed in the pixel area and a peripheral electrode formed in the peripheral area. The peripheral electrode of at least one of the first electrode part and the second electrode part is formed by a plurality of electrodes adjacent to each other. Voltage values of driving voltages applied to the respective electrodes adjacent to each other of the peripheral electrode are different from each other.

    摘要: Disclosed is a transmissive liquid crystal projector carrying a vertical alignment liquid crystal device. The liquid crystal projector includes a liquid crystal panel (25), on the light incident side and on the light radiating side of which a light incident side polarizing plate (24) and a light radiating side light polarizing plate (26) are arranged, respectively.     摘要: An iron-based sintered sliding member that contains no free cementite in its structure and is excellent in tribological property such as friction and wear, and a method of manufacturing that iron-based sintered sliding member are provided. To iron powder as a main component, 3-20 mass % alloy powder, which comprises 4-6 mass % manganese, 3-5 mass % iron, and copper as a remaining component, and 1-5 mass % carbon powder are blended, and mixed to obtain powder mixture. Then, the powder mixture is filled in a mold and compacted to make a green compact of a desired shape. This green compact is sintered at a temperature of 1000-1100 degrees Celsius for 60 minutes in a heating furnace whose inside is adjusted to be a neutral or reducing atmosphere.

The drive substrate is configured to have arranged pixel electrodes. The counter substrate is configured to have a counter electrode common to a plurality of pixels. The spacer is configured to have a column shape and be interposed between the drive substrate and the counter substrate that are so disposed that the pixel electrodes and the counter electrode face each other. The liquid crystal layer is configured to be provided and sealed between the drive substrate and the counter substrate. The aperture pattern in which the spacer is enclosed is provided in the counter electrode.
