    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable member-to-be-cleaned having elasticity; a cleaning member, having elasticity, for removing a deposited matter deposited on the member-to-be-cleaned; and a supporting portion for supporting the cleaning member so that the cleaning member swings around a swing fulcrum. The swing fulcrum of the supporting portion is provided so that a force exerted from the member-to-be-cleaned onto the cleaning member with respect to a direction along a tangential line where the cleaning member and the member-to-be-cleaned contact each other during movement of the member-to-be-cleaned has a vector component in a direction in which the cleaning member is moved away from the member-to-be-cleaned.

    摘要: A sheet size detecting apparatus having a first arm moved by a moving sheet contacting therewith, a second arm moved by the moving sheet contacting therewith, the second arm being disposed at a location differing from that of the first arm in a direction orthogonal to the movement direction of the sheet, and a sensor, wherein the output level of the sensor when only one of the first arm and the second arm has been moved is the same as the output level thereof when neither of the first arm and the second arm is moved, and the output level of the sensor when both of the first arm and the second arm have been moved differs from the output level thereof when neither of the first arm and the second arm is not moved. Thereby, the cost can be suppressed and yet, the wrong detection of the sheet size can be prevented.

    摘要: On each negative plate (1), a non-woven fabric (2) composed of fibers of at least one material selected from a group of materials comprising glass, pulp and polyolefins comes into contact with the entire surface of the plate without being integrated with the plate. Each negative plate (1), which is in contact with the non-woven fabric (2), is contained in an envelope separator (3) comprising a microporous synthetic resin sheet, and is laminated with a positive plate (4). The non-woven fabric is manufactured through papermaking process in which glass fibers, pulp and silica powder are preferably used and dispersed in water as the main components.

    摘要: In a liquid-type lead acid storage battery in which charging is performed for a short time intermittently and high-rate discharging to load is performed in a partially charged state, there are used a positive electrode plate in which the utilization rate of a positive electrode activation substance is set to a range of 50% to 65%, and a negative electrode plate in which a carbonaceous electroconductive material and a bisphenol/aminobenzenesulfonic acid/formaldehyde condensate are added to the negative electrode activation substance, thereby improving the charge acceptance and the lifespan performance; and a separator whose surface disposed opposite the negative electrode plate is formed from a nonwoven fabric made of a material selected from glass, pulp, and polyolefin, is used as a separator; whereby the charge acceptance and the lifespan performance under PSOC are improved.

    摘要: In a lithium-ion secondary battery of the present invention, the electrical resistivity of the mixture of a positive electrode active material, an electrically conductive member, and a binder is 0.1 Ωcm or more but 1 Ωcm or less. The positive and negative electrodes each have an electrical capacity of 10 mAh or more but 50 mAh or less per volume of a rectangular parallelepiped that has a 1 cm2 square base on a face of the electrode of one polarity facing the electrode of the other polarity and that has a height equal to the thickness of the electrode of the one polarity at the square base. Used as the negative electrode thereof is a negative electrode formed by sintering graphite powder, non-graphitizing carbon, and fibrous powder retained in the pores of a porous metal structure in an inert gas atmosphere at a temperature of between 600 and 1000° C.
