The medical instrument insertion apparatus includes a helical structure unit provided in a long and thin insertion unit (10), a retaining unit (30) which retains the insertion unit (10) along a predetermined axis direction while the retaining unit (30) can proceed and withdraw, and a rotation drive unit (20) which rotates the retaining unit (30) about the predetermined axis. Therefore, operability is improved in inserting the insertion unit (10), and the insertion unit (10) can securely be inserted into the body cavity while an operator does not require complicated operation or skill.

The receiving device 13 receives the separation detection result. The image switching device 10 receives the first image from the endoscope device 14 and the second image from the monitor device 12, and switches the display image of the monitor 11 from the second image to the first image when receiving the separation detection result from the receiving device 13.

    摘要: A body-insertable apparatus that can reduce the apparatus size and perform projection operation of an injection needle in a power saving manner is provided. A body-insertable apparatus 1 according to the present invention has a balloon 4 for storing a medical fluid in a capsule-like casing 2, and an injection needle 5 including an elastic membrane 6. The body-insertable apparatus 1 discharges the medical fluid due to contraction of the balloon 4, applies a discharge pressure of the medical fluid to the elastic membrane 6 to expand the elastic membrane 6, and projects the injection needle 5 from the casing 2 due to the expansion of the elastic membrane 6. Further, the body-insertable apparatus 1 has a channel forming unit 11 for forming a channel 11a connecting to the balloon 4 and a channel 11b connecting to the injection needle 5, and a communication adjusting mechanism 12. The communication adjusting mechanism 12 adjusts a communicated state between the channels 11a and 11b, thereby controlling the start of medical-fluid discharge operation by the balloon 4.

    摘要: An already-existing and general-purpose capsule endoscope for alimentary canal is enabled to be used to monitor a body cavity by directly diverting the already-existing and general-purpose capsule endoscope to a body-cavity-indwelling capsule endoscope in a simple and secure manner. An indwelling device for an encapsulated medical device of the invention includes a latching portion 203 which fixes a capsule endoscope 300 and a retaining unit 202 which mounts and retains a capsule endoscope 300. Therefore, the capsule endoscope 300 and the latching portion 203 are integral with each other only by mounting and retaining the capsule endoscope 300 to and in the retaining unit 202, and then the capsule endoscope 300 can be placed along with the latching portion 203 by setting the latching portion 203 to a desired region in the body cavity to fix the latching portion 203 to a body cavity tissue by endoscopic treatment. Accordingly, the already-existing and general-purpose capsule endoscope 300 for alimentary canal can be used to monitor a body cavity by directly diverting the already-existing and general-purpose capsule endoscope to the body-cavity-indwelling capsule endoscope in the simple and secure manner.
