摘要: An axial gap type motor according to the present invention includes: a rotor; and a pair of stators which are arranged to face each other and hold the rotor from both sides thereof along a rotation axis. The rotor includes: electromagnets which are provided on the rotor as main magnets, and arranged along a circumferential direction so that directions of magnetic fluxes thereof are parallel to the rotation axis; and sub permanent magnets which are provided on the rotor, arranged in the vicinities of circumferential end portions of the main magnets, and are magnetized orthogonal to the rotation axis and a radial direction.

摘要: A controller of an electric motor for improving operation efficiency in performing electric conducting control of the electric motor of an axial air-gap type is provided.Therefore, the controller of the electric motor (3) of the axial air-gap type including a rotor (11) having a permanent magnet, a first stator (12a) and a second stator (12b) oppositely arranged through the rotor (11) in a rotation axis direction of the rotor (11), and armature windings (13a, 13b) mounted to the first stator (12a) and the second stator (12b) has an electric current command determining section (30) for switching between a both-side stator driving mode for conducting a driving electric current to both the armature winding (13a) of the first stator (12a) and the armature winding (13b) of the second stator (12b), and a one-side stator driving mode for conducting the driving electric current to only the armature winding (13a) of the first stator (12a) in accordance with a request value Tr_c of output torque of the electric motor (3).

摘要: A motor controller (2) for an axial-gap motor (1), which has a rotor (3), two stators (4, 5) disposed on both sides of the rotor (3) in the axial direction, and armature windings (6, 7) wrapped around the stators (4, 5), includes a field current controller (43, 44) which adjusts the field current in the current supplied to the armature windings (6, 7) of at least one of the stators (4, 5) so as to restrain a thrust force acting on the rotor (3) in the axial direction of the rotor (3). This restrains the thrust force acting on the rotor (3) of the axial-gap motor (1).

摘要: In a predetermined operating state of an electric motor 3 of an axial air-gap type, control is carried out as follows. A phase difference between an electric current supplied to an armature winding 13a of one of the stators 12a and an electric current supplied to an armature winding 13b of the other stator 12a is set so as to suppress a variation in an output torque of the electric motor 3, and electric currents having the phase difference are supplied to the armature windings 13a, 13b of the stators 12a, 12b. In an operating state other than the predetermined operating state, an electric current supplied to the armature winding 13a of the one of the stators 12a and an electric current supplied to the armature winding 13b of the other stator 12b are in a same phase. With this configuration, a variation in output torque can be suppressed only in an operating state where the variation in output torque of the electric motor is to be suppressed, and the output torque and the energy efficiency of the electric motor 3 can be enhanced sufficiently in the other operating states.
