    摘要: An engine is provided with an output shaft and a motor generator connection shaft of a crankshaft at ends of a crank case and adapted such that the output shaft can be connected with an external driven apparatus. A motor generator has stators relatively fixed to the crank case and a rotor coupled with the motor generator connection shaft and rotating relative to the stators. An external apparatus connection shaft is connected with the rotor and disposed at an end of the motor generator on the opposite side of the engine. A clutch is disposed between the motor generator connection shaft and the rotor. A power storage unit stores electric power generated by the motor generator and supplies the electric power to the motor generator. A controller switches between an electric power generation function and a motor function, and engages and disengages the clutch.

    摘要: A power system includes an axial-flux motor/generator. The axial-flux motor/generator may include a housing, a first rotor supported at least partially from the housing, and a second rotor supported at least partially from the housing. The second rotor may be mechanically decoupled from the first rotor. The power system may also include a mechanical power source drivingly connected to the first rotor. Additionally, the power system may include power-system controls. The power-system controls may be operable to selectively cause the mechanical power source to drive the first rotor while the axial-flux motor/generator generates electricity with mechanical power the first rotor receives from the mechanical power source. The power-system controls may also be operable to selectively cause the axial-flux motor/generator to operate as an electric motor to rotate the second rotor. Additionally, the power-system controls may be operable to control torque on the first rotor and torque on the second rotor independently.

    摘要: An electric machine (40) has a stator (43), a permanent magnet rotor (38) with permanent magnets (39) and a magnetic coupling uncluttered rotor (46) for inducing a slip energy current in secondary coils (47). A dc flux can be produced in the uncluttered rotor when the secondary coils are fed with dc currents. The magnetic coupling uncluttered rotor (46) has magnetic brushes (A, B, C, D) which couple flux in through the rotor (46) to the secondary coils (47c, 47d) without inducing a current in the rotor (46) and without coupling a stator rotational energy component to the secondary coils (47c, 47d). The machine can be operated as a motor or a generator in multi-phase or single-phase embodiments and is applicable to the hybrid electric vehicle. A method of providing a slip energy controller is also disclosed.

    摘要: In a predetermined operating state of an electric motor of an axial air-gap type, control is carried out as follows. A phase difference between an electric current supplied to an armature winding of one of the stators and an electric current supplied to an armature winding of the other stator is set so as to suppress a variation in an output torque of the electric motor, and electric currents having the phase difference are supplied to the armature windings of the stators. A variation in output torque can be suppressed only in an operating state where the variation in output torque of the electric motor is to be suppressed, and the output torque and the energy efficiency of the electric motor can be enhanced sufficiently in the other operating states.
