摘要: A cell culturing apparatus and a cell culturing method are disclosed. A rack supporting apparatus includes a loop tracking and a plurality of culturing racks connected one after another in series. Each of the culturing racks accommodates culturing containers therein for cell culturing during their travel on the loop tracking. Each of the racks is accessible, through conveyors, to a container handling station where culture medium is filled in the culturing containers and cell inoculation is carried out. The culturing containers processed in the container handling station are automatically accommodated into the rack by an infeed station for starting cell culturing, and the culturing containers in which cell culturing have been performed in the rack are automatically discharged therefrom by a discharge station.

摘要: An apparatus for separating a component from a liquid is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes a plurality of cartridges disposed within a tank, the cartridges being mounted on a support member rotatable about a first axis, and each cartridge being rotatable about a second axis parallel to the first axis. The cartridges include a plurality of holes on an outer periphery thereof, and contain a supply of a granular ion exchange material capable of separating a desired component from the liquid. Means are provided for transferring liquid to be separated into the tank, and to discharge treated liquid from the cartridges to a location outside the tank.

摘要: In the roller bottle filling and harvesting system of the present invention, a decapper, a medium harvesting and cleaning apparatus, a medium filling apparatus and a capper are all located in an aseptic chamber, in this order along a supply conveyor. Roller bottles at the medium harvesting and cleaning apparatus have their pitch aligned and a plural number of roller bottles are tilted from the upright position, through a predetermined angle and the used medium in the roller bottles is withdrawn, the bottles returned to the upright position and then filled with cleaning liquid by a roller bottle inner surface cleaning apparatus. Then, the roller bottles are sent to a roller bottle roll and tilt apparatus which tilts the roller bottles to a predetermined angle and rotates and cleans the roller bottles and then sends them to an adjacent supply conveyor. Furthermore, the plural number of roller bottles aligned and supplied to the medium filling apparatus, are tilted through a predetermined angle and the cleaning liquid inside them is withdrawn. The bottles are then returned to the upright position, filled with the required amounts of medium and CO.sub.2 gas by a double nozzle for the simultaneous filling thereof, in order to adjust the pH value, and are then sent to an adjacent supply conveyor.

摘要: The present invention provides a thin and light-weight birefringent film having a desired Nz coefficient, such that an index ellipsoid satisfies a relationship of nx≧nz>ny.The birefringent film of the present invention contains a first acenaphtho[1,2-b]quinoxaline derivative exhibiting lyotropic liquid crystallinity and a second acenaphtho[1,2-b]quinoxaline derivative exhibiting lyotropic liquid crystallinity, wherein an index ellipsoid satisfies a relationship of nx≧nz>ny. An Nz coefficient of this birefringent film is preferably 0 to 0.5.
