    摘要: Surface treatment of lithographic printing plate which utilizes as ink receptive areas a photographically formed image silver per se or image silver halide per se is carried out in the presence of an organic compound having at least one mercapto or thione group and at least one hydrophilic group in the same molecule and an inorganic water-insoluble fine powder having a particle size of 0.1.mu. or less after imagewise exposure of a silver halide emulsion layer and processing thereof to develop an image, whereby ink receptivity, anti-staining property and printing endurance of the plate can be improved.

    摘要: Lithographic printing plates having high ink receptivity, suffuring no ink stains and having much improved printing endurance can be produced by silver complex diffusion transfer process from lithographic printing plate materials comprising a support having thereon at least both silver halide emulsion layer and physical development nuclei layer wherein the diffusion transfer processing is carried out in the presence of 2-mercaptobenzoic acid derivatives or, besides this 2-mercaptobenzoic acid derivatives, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of alkanolamines and cyclic imide compounds which may be contained in at least one layers of the lithographic printing plate materials and/or the diffusion transfer developing solutions.

    摘要: In production of lithographic printing plates by developing a photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least both silver halide emulsion layer and physical development nuclei layer by silver complex diffusion transfer process to form transfer silver to be used as ink-receptive portions of the lithographic printing plates, when the development is carried out in the presence of a cyclic imide compound (alone or in combination with sulfites, thiosulfates, thiocyanates or alkanolamines) as defined hereinafter, ink-receptivity of the transfer silver image portions and printing endurance of thus obtained printing plates are improved. Moreover, the non-image portions have no or substantially no stains.

    摘要: An apparatus is disclosed which projects light onto a retina of a viewer, to thereby allow the viewer to perceive a display object via a virtual image. The apparatus includes: an emitter emitting light; a modulator modulating the light; a display unit outputting the modulated light to the retina of the viewer through an exit of the display unit, to thereby display in an image display region an image representative of the display object in the form of a virtual image; and a controller controlling the emitter and the modulator so that the image is displayed in the image display region. The controller detects a relative motion of the viewer with respect to a position of the viewer, and performs at least one of control of a display/non-display status of the image, and control of a display position of the image, in accordance with the detected relative motion.

    摘要: An axial flow fan is provided having an airfoil shape that improves efficiency of the axial flow fan and increases the structural strength and workability/formability of the thin trailing edge portion. The axial flow fan includes a blade having a suction surface, a pressure surface, and a trailing edge surface; the suction surface has the same in shape as a predetermined airfoil including an NACA-series airfoil; a trailing edge portion on the pressure surface is different in shape from the predetermined airfoil. A feature is that the blade trailing edge portion including the trailing edge portions on the oppositely facing pressure and suction surfaces and the trailing edge, has a thickness greater than that of a trailing edge portion of the predetermined airfoil and strength equaling or exceeding a predetermined strength.
