    摘要: Disclosed is an extraction method for optical character recognition systems in which the necessary character features for recognition process are extracted from a character information detected and digitized by an optical scanner. In accordance with this method, the local features of every adjacent two rows or columns of a digitized character pattern on a two-dimensional plane are extracted row by row or column by column and are successively integrated so as to extract in a global manner the respective feature types such as concavity and convexity, loop and connectivity of the character pattern. At the same time, the global feature regions or segments are separated and each of the separated feature segments is coded without any loss of the information. The feature quantity of each segment is obtained on the basis of the coded representation. Any local concavity or convexity noises are eliminated simultaneously with the extraction of the global features.

The driving element comprises a first cam having a first cam surface, a second cam having a second cam surface, and an intermediate member displaced between the first and second cams. During non-drive period of the driven element, the bearings contact a circular arc surface of the second cam, and further the recesses contact the plurality of rollers, to restrict rotation of the driven element.

    摘要: In a computer-aided design (CAD) method for the intra-chip wiring in a hierarchical implementation design of a semiconductor integrated circuit, wiring pattern spaces from block edge terminals are guaranteed while preventing any wiring detour in inter-block nets. Logical line connecting information and implementation information such as contours of parts and terminal positions are inputted from a logical file and a library to extract block edge terminals so as to define a block boundary in accordance with layout positions of parts to be allocated. On the block boundary defined, one virtual terminal is generated for each block edge terminal to dispose wirings between the block edge terminals and the associated virtual terminals. An intra-block net wiring is then achieved without a short circuit to the wirings between the block edge terminals and the associated virtual terminals. Finally, the virtual terminals and the wiring pattern between the block edge terminals and the associated virtual terminals are deleted.

The partial gear and the cam portion on the driving rotating body are displaced along the axis of rotation, and the gear and the recesses on the driven rotating body are displaced along the axis of rotation.

    摘要: In designing wiring for semiconductor integrated circuits, wiring channels are assigned to reduce a signal delay time developed parallel traces. The selection of the wiring channels for all of the wiring oriented nets of the circuits is based on the trunk trace length between the terminals. For the longer trunk trace lengths, a double-pitch wiring channel is assigned. First, the determined trunk-trace lengths are sorted in decreasing order of length. Then, a double-pitch wiring channel is assigned for the trunk-trace lengths that are greater than a predetermined length. When no double pitch channels remain, single pitch channels are used.
